That's a solid eleven.. However I'd replace Sachin with a matchwinner in Ponting to make it complete

I replace Matthew Hayden with Sunil Gavaskar or Rahul Dravid as dravid can also open innings and Bradman was middle order batsman

You do realize that Ponting the match winner, no longer remained a match winner when he lost his ATG bowlers McGrath and Warne.

In such a team as above, Tendulkar would also end up a match winner because of ATG bowlers.

Great team picked by Waqar. Very fair selections and all top cricketers.

I feel Marshall should have definitely been there being more complete than Mcgrath and Sunil Gavaskar who was arguably the best of all opening batsmen, instead of Hayden.Somehow I dont fancy the Don at his bset as an opener and preferred Tendulkar to open with his great experience in ODI's.It would have been fascinating having Lara and Tendulkar opening the batting. With his batting prowess maybe Richard Hadlee would be a more suitable candidate than Mcgrath who would bat at no 9 and give the team more batting depth. With his great tactical mastery Bradman may have been my choice as captain.

Anyway basically a great xi chosen.

Happy that Tendulkar ,Lara and Viv all make it with hardly anything separating them but arguably with a regular pair only 2 of the 3 could stand with Bradman in the middle order with an all-rounder at no 6.

My all time Test 11

Alaistar cook
Virender Sehwag
Ricky Ponting
Sachin Tendulkar
Kumar Sangakara
Sir Garfield Sobers
Imran Khan (c)
Wasim Akram
Shane Warne
Glenn Mcgrath
Alan Donald

It's all nice and fine.

But all time XIs are boring as hell where you mostly know who will make it.

People should start picking favorites XI.

That All time XI would compete against any I've seen before, definitely good selections by Waqar.
