Wasim Akram "humiliated", questioned publicly at Manchester Airport

Yeah I do acknowledge that and live in India unlike some patriots who fly away to 1st world countries at the first opportunity. No need for lessons, reserve that for those who actually flee the country and then exhibit their patriotism on online forums.

If India has to improve it must set high standards and accept its shortcomings, be hard on herself.

Those who fly away to 1st world countries are far better than the ingrates living in india. One person less to fight for limited jobs and resources, plus remittance and make everyone proud when they assemble to hear Modi ji speak when he visits US/UK and gets Red carpet welcome. Better than traitors and anti nationals who are eating away the country like termites.

I was in a lounge at Abu Dhabi airport about 20 months ago with my two children aged 12 and 10.

I spotted Wasim Akram and I didn’t want to disturb him but really wanted to introduce him to my kids.

He gave me and my boys 10 minutes and was so polite and patient. My experience with him was a good one.
