Weak links in the Pakistan World Cup side

In Recent Matches Especially England tour I have Come to conclusion That Pakistan Weaker link Is their all rounders .
Batting isn't getting support from lower middle oder
Bowling isn't getting support from any all-rounder.
That way we r always 30 -40 runs short and when Bowling no Wickets in The Middle which in turn is hurting our Winning chances.
What do you guys think?

You are correct in your assessment. All of our all-rounders have been poor. Imad's bowling is average at best. It's a super rare moment when he takes more than 2 wickets. His batting is also poor; i've never seen him successfully chase or play a great knock. The less said about Faheem the better. Only in Pakistan can a player like Faheem be termed as an all-rounder. And our third all-rounder, Shadab has a SR of 65 batting at 7 or 8, it may sound ridiculous but it's true.

Shadab and Faheem shouldn't even be considered as all-rounders, and Imad is average at best.

You only select all rounders who make the team on either batting or bowling merit. These all rounders who have 10 overs for 40 and average 30 or useless. It's better to pick specialists than all rounders who don't make the team on batting or bowling merit alone.

Imad's bowling is doing equal/better than expected. His batting has to step up. Even if he can maintain 20-25 avg at 125-140 SR he would have done his job

Hafeez should start chucking again now. Needs to bowl 6-7 overs per game

Faheem is not in squad.
Shadabs a spinner not an all rounder
Haris is a batsman and part time spinner.
Only hafeez and imad are in my opinion all rounders and they would both make my team.
The elephant in the room is not having a strike fast bowler to take wickets at the start. Too late now, but the solution for this, i think, would have been haris rauf.

Pakistan had 4 years after 2015 WC , why they did not develop any ? Look what kind of batting depth Poms have , Pakistan could have developed Umar Amin , Hamad Azam , Anwar Ali etc. They never cared .

Shaheen is not the answer. Shaheen has been playing for pak for over a year now. And in the last year, pakistan has been at the bottom of the charts for taking wickets in the powerplay.
The answer could be haris rauf. Unfortunately, not selected in wc squad.

Pakistan have never replaced Abdul Razzaq, thats how far back our problem stretches, boom boom was always a bowler who could bat a bit, we defo lack a genuine all rounder who will consistently chip in with 5-10 overs and make a big difference at the end of the batting innings.

We need an intelligent version of Umar Akmal in the team. Sadly, there are none. We have "experience" though in the form of Hafeez and Malik.....players who weren't even considered some time back because they were mediocre compared to the likes of Inzi and Yusuf. Now they are the ones we depend on. It's a sad story

frankly there isnt much wrong with the team , only the current form.

These are the best available players we have , yah shinwari deserved to be selected as well.

Shadab and hasan were doing pretty well but this year hasn't been going well for them. Shaheen was doing well as well but I guess inexperience got better of him. Both shinwari and shaheen were averaging in teens with the ball. Shadab still has a pretty good bowling average and so has hasan.

I think our team is too overcautious , both in batting and bowling. Our bowlers are worried about being driven for a boundary so they dish out outdated lengths these days. There is lack of confidence in players and I don't see any aggression at all in the bowlers. They need to stop worrying about losing , getting hit for a four or consolidating after a wicket falls. Just go out there and play fearlessly.

The whole team and strategy is a weak link ! What's frustrating is that we don't do the basics right in building a team nor hold players accountable for failing to meet minimum standards.

Look at Australia and New Zealand - every player understands their role and are held accountable if they don't execute their role. Fitness and fielding skills are a given whereas we make such a hoo-ha over this.

When constructing a limited overs attack, you want your pacers to regularly hit a consistent line and length, have a range of speeds, angles and possess variations. That's gotta be the bare minimum.

Your spinners have got to spin the ball both ways not rely on darters like us.

New Zealand pacers all bring something different. Boult provides a left arm angle and can move the ball both ways. Henry provides the right arm angle whereas Ferguson is a great weapon if the ball is not swinging with his raw pace. Same with Australia. Whereas ours is a one dimensional attack. Nobody swings the new ball, nobody can execute yorkers reliably, no hit the deck bowler and no gun spinner.

Pakistan just lurch from one series to another, losing one series after another, and don't hold players accountable.

Pakistan is not a great cricket team anymore; it’s hopeless and lost just like Pakistan itself.
