Was really dumb to give him back captaincy after taking it away. It wasn’t worth the risk. At least the first stint of captaincy you can say them were some highs, some lows, you could say he gave it up to concentrate on his form. The fiasco in the t20 World Cup, losing to USA etc, the second stint was complete failure, and it’s though to get back from that.

He was the wrong choice for captaincy in the first place. He only got it because he was our best player at the time. Captaincy should be given to experienced captains who have showed aptitude in domestic.

Hostility of Fans is Justified.. When you are touted best among peers , Fans expect you to show up at clutch moments and he was missing since 2022.. lot of opportunities since 2022 to show up , always ends in Disappointment..
