546-5

WI only trail by 54 runs

Chance for WI to pummel England by piling on the runs

Nasser says that its a TRAVESTY that Sarwan might score a triple ton on this seamers paradise...

Ramdin 99(192) - Sarwan 272(432)
Current partnership 240 runs, 64.4 overs, RR: 3.71 (Sarwan 127, Ramdin 99)
last 10 overs 55-0
WI 574-5 after 160 overs - trail by 26 runs
41 overs left today

I hope W.I can get a lead off 100+ here and then put pressure on england!

161.5 Sidebottom to Ramdin, 1 run, flicked off his pads and there it is! Joy for Ramdin as he punches the air, flicking the bat in acknowledgement at the dressing room, and he finally has his hundred. He holds up a piece of paper with a message on it - not sure what it says, but we'll try to find out. He's over the moon - great moment

Ah, the piece of paper said thanks to Ian Bishop, David Williams (assistant coach) and Ronnie Sarwan. Nice touch

sarwan could be looking at 300 or maybe 400 here...?

Often after the landmark people get out but Ramdin has to stay there until Sarwan gets 300.

Sarwan 291(451) - Ramdin 100(197)
WI 595-5 after 164 overs - trail by 5 runs
37 overs left today

15 mins till tea! can sarwan get to 300 before tea?

Congrats to Ramdin , well played.

Have to say though, good as they are for batsmen and their averages, games and pitches like this one and last week's at Karachi are not doing any favours to test cricket.

Sarwan finally goes loses his off stick to sidebottom!

291 well played!

Sarwan must be very disappointed by 9 runs short, he might not get another chance for this. Well done for 290. Ramdin gets his first century

Taylor smashes a SIX - Windies now in the lead!

603-6

And now pulls for a 4.

Sawan must be gutted getting out to Sidebottom!

Talor puts him in his place!

I can see some crash, bang, wallop action in last session.

I think the tail may come out and play some cowlashes which should be fun!

Fireworks indeed!

Taylor 30* off 30 balls!

631-6

Taylor with a 4 . . 6 4 off Sidebottom
Taylor 30(30) - Ramdin 106(204)
WI 631-6 after 172 overs - lead of 31 runs

A 100-150 lead here would be great even 200 leaving england 60-70 overs to survive on last day :)

Edwards will come firing on all cylinders. As Athers pointed out bowling is ineffective to get something out of the pitch except Edwards. Pitch has something in it. But nobody has the ability to extract out of it bar Edwards, Athers says.

Taylor 32(42)
This is already Taylor's second-highest score in Test cricket. And he is a centurion ...

WI 645-6 - lead by 45 runs now

LBW appeal from Broad - going way down leg side, yet he celebrates as if it was plumb and the finger going up was a mere formality.

Pathetic stuff - and something Broad has been guilty of before.

NOT OUT!

654-6

WI lead by 54

Taylor stroking the ball cleanly - for SIX!!!

Ramdin joins in!

666-6

We should bat for another 10 overs or so and then declare. Go ballistic and get another 50+ runs....a lead of 120 odd.

Bowl England out for 200 and chase 80 in the last session to win the series.

Benn joins the 100 run club. He has 101 test runs now. He started this innings on the nervous 99

Lead is 99 now and still 15 overs to go...

W.I could have 200 lead by mid-session before lunch!

That would leave england 75 overs or so to save game!

188.2 Swann to Ramdin, FOUR, swings this across the line over midwicket but miscues it, and Sidebottom...well he's misjudged it completely at deep midwicket and watches it travel over the line. Strauss and in particular Swann give him a rightful rollocking

3 fours by Ramdin in the over
Ramdin 152(253) - Powell 5(11)
WI 725-8 after 189 overs - lead of 125
10 overs left today

If the 1st test between Pak and SL was regarded by some as a bad advert for cricket, then what is this i ask u?

well i dont know bout u im enjoying every second of it :))

Actually it is interesting to see when Gayle is going to make the declaration.
Result is still very much possible.. Both teams scored at a decent rate.

tbh im getting sick and tired of cricket becoming more and more batting dominated and these pathetic flat tracks!!!

Swann with a 5fer. Ramdin out bowled on 166. Windies declare
WI 749-9 after 194.4 overs - lead of 149 runs
4 overs left today so England might get 2 overs to bat

It will be interesting if England sends 2 night watchmen or 1 or none

Great effort from Swann. I quite fancy the Windies to win this one given how gutless and rubbish this England team is.

Go Windies!!

If they get 1 wicket At the End of today WI will certainly have a chance to win!

0.1 Edwards to Strauss, no run, sharp! That was pretty sharp, 88mph and it lifted nastily just outside off. Ramdin took it well above his head

That was really quick. Pitch has superb carry. Too bad the likes of Ambrose, Walsh are not there. They would have really had these guys hop around with pace and bounce.

Edwards starts with 88.7 mph and then 90.9 (no ball). He is still carrying on from last innings. No night watchmen for England for the 2 overs
