After suicidal runouts of Dhoni and Kaif .. Pathan is gone too. If India reaches 250 it will be good for them.

They got pretty close to us when we got 300 against them last year. Our bowling is several hundred times better than India.

ODI's we have a far better attack than pakistan...don kid yourself with all that 100 times better attack etc!

We have a much better pace attack while India is better with the spin. Although I will say Pathan is better than anyone we have with the new ball.

well the fact is that indias pace attack is pants!

pakistans reserve fast bowlers are potentially better then them in everything
 
akhtar inclusive... pakistan has a better pace attack. akhtar exclusive, the pendulumn swings the other way... statistics dont lie.

Thats the key word ! but in practice our bowlers couldnt hurt them in recent ODIs

I think slower bowlers will be more effective later on. Anything above 250 will be difficult to chase.

I don rate Akthar vry highly as a ODI bowler..he cud trouble batsmen with pace,but end of the day he wud have given 65 runs taking few tailenders wikt's..No control ,No use in ODI's!
 
if windies use there powerplays effectively then there is a huge chance they will win

this is an extraordinary collapse from 211/3 to 233/8. Three runouts .. most of them were self inflicted. Is India getting too complacent with WI?
 
I might sound silly but I feel a score arnd 280 wud hav motivated WI to chase it more than a target of say 250!

as usualy my deer friend jusarrived (who will justleave since now im here) doesnt know what hes on about..shoaib akhtar Ala pindi express is not your line o lenth bowler..hes a strike bowler..whose job is to get you wickets unlike bacha pathan or any of the indian fast spinners......;)

in simple words as an indian team fan , wud I be worried to see akthar n pakistan's line up?? a honest no!


btw let me tell ya hes one of my fav bowlers in world cricket...his run-up,action etc are all good to watch..easily the most exciting bowler....!
 
Dhoni again proves how he can't bat outside the subcontinent.

3 innings, not even 50 runs. So much for his amazing average.
 
A full strength Pakistan ODI bowling attack of Akhtar, Asif, Rana, Razzaq, Afridi and Malik is MILES better than anything India could ever even DREAM of having.

pathan's left arm spin :D has been giving us better starts upfront than akthars express spells...bottom line is who adds more value to the team...I know u little dense 420,but this isnt exactly rocket science am explainin to you!

fair enough he hasn't been his best against india recently, wether thats due to injuries or whatever but you can't deny the class of the bowler

Never denied his class ...but I doubt his comeback wud strengthen pak attack ..only ODI's mind you!

exactly only the world fastest bowler can take 3 wickets in an over and win pakistan the game in a matter of 6 balls which too be quite frank indian bowlers can only dream about ;)

how many times has bacha pathan or any other bowlers taken a 5er ? :11:

last time i checked when he played against india in a one dayer was in the champions tropy in england..where he took 2 wickets in one over and set up the victory for pakistan :11:
he took 4 wickets in total in that game alone ;)

Shoaib Akhtar has always been a good ODI bowler, as well as a good test bowler.

Far far far better than Irfan Pathan. The Indians can dream about pigs flying if they want.

Solid start by the Windies but they need to start picking up the run rate a little.
 
kaif fielding well, saves a certain four.

Aslong as west indies dont play rash shots the runs will come.
 
7.3 Agarkar to Samuels, FOUR, Samuels too joins in, good length delivery outside the off stump and drive makes perfect contact, Sreesanth at mid-off is bit late off the blocks and the ball rockets away to the long-off fence
 
Sreesanth gets samuels lbw. looked straight and out but on 2nd look height was maybe an issue.

west indies 1 wkt down.
 
fuller in length and swings in, tries to play across the line, hits the pad bit high, shout for lbw, umpire Asad Rauf thinks that ball is hitting the stumps, he sent Samuels back to pavilion

Rauf forgets which country he comes from.
 
Samuels going is probably better for Windies. He was holding things up a bit too much.
