West Indies v Pakistan | 1st ODI | Guyana | April 7th, 2017 | Pakistan Innings

Good to see 21 year old Mohammed Hafeez being sent at number 3. He will become the mainstay of Pakistan batting lineup in the future. Also good to see oldies like Babar Azam batting way below their preferred position.

This is what happens when the selectors are morally corrupt to the core....

Aur do 9.5 / 10 to the squads selected by the saint chief selector that all of you guys hold holier than thou.

He is just like his predecessors.

Sharjeel wasn't a single taker either. Actually, the game has changed in a way that openers hardly bothers to take singles these days (Warner's boundary % in contribution to his scores in PP is almost 85%).

Today, they have done enough for MoHa & Babar not to spoil. This WI opening pair actually is better than most around these days. Now watch MoHa's master class👍

If I were to be honest, I'm losing my interest and I was obsessed with cricket. Other fans have already stopped watching.
 
33 dot balls for Shehzad so far on a belter. Limited player who can't hit anything outside his zone. A product of the bowling machine.

I am not talking about SR. it's contribution - if Warner scores 40 in first 10 overs, his scores from boundary is around 33/34. Even Dhawan's was around 28, Amla around 29. I can't recall where I worked that out, the mantra these days is blunt slogging in 1st PP. singles are always better, but as complementary to boundaries.
 
Hafeez leaving deliveries in ODI's like he's batting on the first day of a Test match in South Africa vs Steyn and Rabada.

Pakistan ruining another 300 plus score, I am calling it right now Pakistan will end up with a 260ish score.
 
Perfect pitch and quality of bowling for Hafeez to race towards a trollish century.
 
Pakistani way of playing; hit one boundary every 3 overs and play 17 dots.
 
Hafeez in double figures. Ticket to CT booked.
 
106/1 in 20 overs is not bad. People need to check the format of this match again. It's ODI not T20's don't lose your patience level. :inti

What did you expect - you can mark this post : if Sarfy can't keep his game, w/l & fitness up to the mark, MoHa is going to lead to PAK in 2019 WC.

Ahmed Shahzad is one of the worst modern day players I have ever seen. Unbelievable amount of dot balls and so many shots directly to fielders. Makes you think what the coaches see in him.
 
two most selfish players playing for their spots in the side. This pitch is a 300 plus pitch. But, with these kinds of selfish players, we might not even make 300. Disgusted with these two.

why Sarfraz came into bat before Fakhar Zaman in the 4th T20I when the match was in bag? Does he not know that Fakhar Zaman play as an opener or #3 in domestic and it his first tour with team? Extremely selfish behaviour by Sarfraz

He is selfish nothing else.

Just see how his strike rate improves after 50. And then it will again become poor if he reaches 90s.

Arthur was head coach of Saf team for 5 years that reached no. 1 in 3 formats, he was the mastermind of Saf academy system, he was good enough to qualify as the first non Aussie head coach of CA - do you think he is his dumb? He has been forced to compromise on this - I can tell you, had MoHa got a 50 in that useless practice match against WI, Babar won't have debuted in Test even now. For that, is PCB delayed announcing team as late as possible to give MoHa the last chance - 2nd innings, when part timers wer throwing pies.
 
If you look at the scoring zones, Shehzad has scored 40% of his runs through midwicket region. Our batsmen are out of their depth outside their usual comfort zone.
 
Ramiz can see it.

Waqar can see it.

Us cricket illiterates can see it.


If there is someone who can't see it, it is the team management and selectors :facepalm:
