West Indies v Pakistan | 3rd Test | Roseau, Dominica | May 10-14, 2017 | Day 3

Four .... there goes the Follow On, Match and the Series !!! Too bad.

There was no chance we were going to enforce the follow on anyway, not when the pitch is still this good for batting. Best to bat again, let the bowlers rest and bat until around tea tomorrow and then put the Windies in chasing 350 in the fourth innings.

Stupid from Amir to come around the wicket . . you bowled 3 balls at him from over . . one almost carried to 2nd slip . . one he wasn't comfortable playing . . and you come around the wicket in the next over . . some brains please!

Vishal Singh is a dud.

He cannot play pace bowling. Not even Abbas who is bowling at 125k's.

Jason Holder is probably their best batsman technically! He is good enough to bat in the top 5 . . Can't believe he comes in at number 8

Big Mac bro, GIF of the wicket please :)

Can't watch the match, unfortunately.

Chase/Holder/Hope are the only quality batsmen in WI unit. Rest are average or mediocre.

Unfortunately these guys come lower down the order.

Singh is a horrid batsman against pace.

Singh is more suited to spin conditions, he did well on a recent A team tour of Sri Lanka. He plays his FC cricket on slow, low Guyana pitches.

But his technique (not everyone can be Shiv) and static footwork is an issue against pace. I wouldn't want to take him to England this summer. Especially with one of the Tests being staged under lights.

Holder is the one. He has batted well against us in our recent tests vs West Indies.

Holder and Chase are their best bats

Pakistan's issue has been they haven't been able to get 2 or 3 wickets quickly . . Every WI batsman is putting a price on his wicket

Blackwood should have played this Test.

Though he has a tendency to throw it away easily, he is much better batsman than Singh.

Holder should move up the order.

Chase hasn't left the ground.

Might still bat tomorrow, then.

In any case, need them all out for ~275 by lunch tomorrow, tops (assuming no rain), and then score 220 in two sessions, leaving them to get 320 on day 5.

I can't wait for the outrage when we don't start the innings going at 8 RPO

If we have a lead of 100+ and have 60-70 overs of batting tomorrow, and we don't bat at 3.5-4 RPO while setting up a 5th day target for them, the outrage will actually be valid.

West Indies have shown good tempremeant in this innings. Will be interesting to see how they fare in England.

Pak needs to get all of WI wickets before lunch tomorrow to have a chance at winning this Test.

Wicket of Holder is the key.

Amir is equally pivotal and he's miles ahead of any other pace bowler we currently have, him and Yasir form the core of our bowling battery, the rest are simply garbage both in spin and pace departments, without these two our depleted bowling attack will be rendered hopeless and ineffective.

Amir could be pivotal but for now Yasir is doing the heavy lifting.
In this match I'd say both Abbas and Hasan have been better than golden boy.

Which will be matched by the defence at scoring at 2 runs an over.

It's the run rate at the end of the third innings which counts, not the run rate for the first 10 overs.

WI are trying to eat into the overs remaining in the Test. They have been clearly in the Test match saving mode since the start of their innings.

Totally negative thinking.

England's pace attack in English conditions is going to be completely different from batting on these wickets. I'll be surprised if the Windies don't get torn apart.

I understand there has been a lot of criticism at the way both teams have batted . . and this match has not been very entertaining yet . .

but you have to lament this pitch . . this is an absoutely ludicrous pitch! You can't score quickly . . its way too slow . . you can't take wickets . . its way too slow . . fast bowlers nightmare really! there is nothing in the pitch for them . . absolutely nothing! It just makes for bad cricket . .

If WI get the pitches we got in England, they might take the matches to the last day; if the get the pitches SL got before us in May, they will be massacred.

hahahahahahahaha, that's Misbah-esque trolling from Holder

:salute
