Vishauk is decent in spin conditions which you'd expect given he plays his FC cricket in Guyana but he's asking for trouble with his footwork and technique against lateral movement in places like England.

BTW - good to see Pakistan getting reverse. Hated seeing England get more reverse than we did last year in the Edgbaston Test. Think Azhar Mahmood has done a good job with our bowlers.
 
It is so refreshing to see our bowlers keeping it tight and not leaking any runs. I am so glad that Wahab Riaz has finally gotten the boot; he would have leaked runs left and right and ease the pressure on the batsmen. I hope Hasan Ali get's reward for his good bowling and end spray cannons (Wahab Riaz)career. Now if only Yasir Shah can keep it tight too and build more pressure on the batsmen.

I was so frustrated that I opened a thread regarding that on PP! not working on the ball hard enough was very noticeable beyond technical adjustments, Azhar has been decent so far; his experience from the county set up have made him a better cricketer and thinker over the years.
 
Good session for Pakistan, hopefully we can winkle Chase and Holder out quickly after lunch and get into the tail.

Ball has been reversing and there has been turn for Yasir. Hasan Ali looks to be bowling with confidence and at a good pace.
 
Chase and Holder, their best 2 bats still there . . If WI are able to get through this session without losing both of them, they'd have greatly increased their chances at saving this test match . .
This pitch is very much playable . . it's much much better than what we played on, on the 5th day of the Barbados test match
 
Chase and Holder are the biggest threats to a victory for Pakistan here. Dowrich isn't bad either.
 
Holder should bat at 6

Can see Pak winning with 17 overs to spare win by 100 runs
 
So 3 wickets in 1st session, Another 3 needed in this session at least, but 7 feel we will get 6 in this one.

Man, we just can't seem to get Chase out . . Guy has batted super well this entire series
 
Need to hold our nerve, this is a crucial phase of play.

Times like this where you wish we had a fifth bowler to give ourselves a different option.
 
Surely if on field umpiregave it out and not enough evidence either way then that has to stay out?
 
Bounce Chase a bit, get him onto the back foot and keep him there for two or three overs before slipping in a surprise full delivery. Even if it's not on the stumps you might get him playing away from his body because his feet will hopefully be stuck on the crease.

If the babar decision stayed out because of umpires call, then this should stay out as well.

Umpiring has to stay consistent
 
how pathetic is it that there is no snicko here? old 2000s games had snicko in every match
 
Hard without Snicko and Hotspot but third umpire stays with the decision.
 
Before the ICC divides its profits amongst its members, why can't they pay for proper freaking DRS FIRST!

At least two compromised decisions in this match so far.

First thing that ICC needs to do is that if a series has DRS it should have the complete suite of the technology with snicko, hot spot and ball tracking.

Man Yasir is love... what would our team do without him. Everytime we win he has a BIG say in it. We we don't win then you can be sure that Shah had an average game.
 
The Review System remains ridiculously flawed. Too much protection for the umpires.

i had the same feeling when he was given out..i still remember when my dad was extremely upset at the end of 2000 series last test and he was repeatedly saying that umpires just denied us a historical victory..and wasim was magnificient in that match..i was 12 years old at that time..
 
LOOOL at Sarfraz.

His needles crying and shouting behind the stumps is annoying!! Even when there's a no chance he just keeps shouting.

Just ordered some Pizza, Misbah is taking his time because he knows that if hurries then I'd have nothing to watch while I eat :(
