But it's far from being accurate i am not discussing it because Pakistan got involved in it today just see if a team is going 4 an over for 17 overs is it mean they will continue like this till 50 overs?

SL situation yesterday is an example they were not looking like going to score 320 till30th over but they did it...

No. But the target can be upped. Basically they think, with 8 wickets, scoring 200 in 40 overs = with 8 wickets scoring 180 in 30 over = with 8 wickets scoring 160 in 20 overs

Basically the less overs you have with more wickets, the higher you can score. So in proportion your target will go higher
