West Indies Vs Australia | 3rd test | Barbados | 12/06/2008 - 14/06/2008

LEE VS GAYLE NOW

EVERYONE TUNE RIGHT NOW!!!!

amazing, first ball Lee short Gayle misses

DM said:
Make no mistake, Gayle will look to bury Lee and bury Clarke, he'll not mind having the strike to any of them

that is what ponting would b hoping for with 3 slips and lots of runs to play with

OOOOHOOHOOOO Lee going short against Gayle again!!!

You can tell Gayle's simmering, he just wont hold back

And that's the best thing about it for me, Gayle will do EXACTLY that - he'll look to bury them

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH DROPPED¬!!!!!! GAYLE DRIVES UPPISHLY AND DROPPPED!!!! EASY CATCH DROPPPED!

GAYLE WILL CASH IN HERE :D

Lee's disgusted
amazing

OH goodness Marshall almost lbw off Clark

OOOOOOOOOOh Hawkeye saying OUT

well well well...if it is one time to get back all those bad decisions against us..it is now in this innings :))

Gayle has got a look in his eye like he's going to absolutely murder the bowlers

Lee to Marshall now

guess what's coming up :D

EVERYONE who has Sky sports or any channel that's showing this just has to tune in, it really is criminal if you dont

OOOH AROUND THE WICKET FROM LEE TO MARSHALL AND MARSHALL HUMILIATES LEE'S DELIVERY TO THE BOUNDARY :D :D

SORRY THAT WAS GAYLE

OH My God

Full delivery from Lee

GAYLE GOES HARD AT IT ONE HANDED ALMOST SIX"!!!!!!!

goes for four

AMAZING!!!

Gayle wants the blood of Lee, he's going to target their fastest bowler

Katich has been banished to the safer region of 3rd man boundary - radio

Hohoho!! Lee's been taken off!!

Mitchell sent to try to deal with the lion

Marshall dropped by Haddin off Clark. It was to the right and he got one hand to it. Maybe better to leave that one for 1st slip as it was going to him. Katich on his mind

THIS IS PHENOMENAL - AUSSIES DROP a THIRD CATCH!!!

Wicketkeeper drops regulation edge off Marshall

STUNNING

GAyle in the middle of the pitch

Lee aims and misses!!! Should have been a clear run out

Mitchell cracks one into Marshall's body

really crunches him

Mitchell bowling mid 80s mph

ok Gayle has just murdered Mitchell Johnson with a cut for FOUR

well in front of square

follows it up with a perfectly directed yorker at 84mph, dug out by Gayle

GREAT shot for FOUR by Marshall, controlled the cut

oh no

Clarke gets a lucky wicket

Gayle gone :(

Flick to on side, finds mid-on

Clarke was delivering nonsense, slowed down and really boring bowling

DM bro, your commentary is exhilarating

Continue, because I can't watch :D

:))) I would guys, but it wouldn't be as exciting to watch now - Gayle's gone and Lee's off, things dying down

Saying that Marshall has just BURNED Mitchell for a cover drive FOUR! Aerial and all but didnt give one damn

This match is as good as buried now unfortunately

X Marshall dropped at gully off Clark.
Lucky for Katich that it came off helmet.
Viv having a good time on radio over Katich missing that one

a return comes for a run out chance and the player at the stumps drops the ball. The batsman was safe but guess who was the fielder. Yes Sir, it was Katich
WI 97-1

Marshall drives and the edge goes between 1st and 2nd slip. Clarke and Ponting don't move. What is happening here? Where is Katich???

a great LBW decision by Aleem Dar followed by Benson where Sarwan was lucky

Johnson seems to be carrying plenty of lollipops too.

He's gone for 53 in 9 overs!

both batsmen going at great pace. partnership of 92 @ 4.8
25 overs left today

Ball follows Katich again. He lept up but ball went over him at mid on.

Viv says looks like he didn't time his jump right. He doesn't look like a Aussie rules football player and laughs

38.2 Casson to Marshall, FOUR, close, so close! Marshall skips down to collect the ball on the full and ends up hammering it just over Katich's fingertips at mid-on, whew that was tight, Marshall did not want to hit the ball there, he was aiming to hit straight

Marshall dropped on 1 and 22 has reached 82. 82 is also his first class highest
WI 174-2 - need 301 more to win

Marshall misses out on him first 100, caught off Cassons bowling by Jaques
181/3

Marshall 85 out ct at short leg off Clarke
WI 181-3 - need 294 to win
Bravo in and 16 overs left today

Lee to Bravo. A bouncer and Bravo tries to get away. Big appeal for ct behind. Might have hit the glove but Benson says no

A yorker to Bravo now. Almost knocks him over and may have only hit the toe and not touched the bat. A very half hearted appeal by Lee and Benson says no

53.2 Lee to Bravo, no run, and then he follows up with that one, a reverse-swinging yorker that nearly gets through Bravo's toes and defence, bat comes down very late, ball clips his toe and rolls towards gully, where Ponting collects and has a shy as Bravo has fallen over and outside his crease, no appeal from Lee on that occasion

adding this to clear up that the umpire is Benson and not Aleem Dar

53.1 Lee to Bravo, no run, short one, pitches well outside leg stump, Bravo shapes to pull but misses and the ball raps him on the flap, Lee asks the question but Aleem Dar says no as the ball landed a foot or so outside leg stump, but still fast stuff from Lee

How in the world did Xavier Marshal manage 85?

Last I saw of him, he looked way out of his depth, both temperament wise, and technique wise.

Chanderpaul 27 - Bravo 30
WI 235-3 - need 244 more to win
End of day 4. Play 30 minutes early tomorrow

Thanks for the updates 12thMAn - dont get to watch any TV on Sunday as the mrs is entitled to 1 day a week in front of the 'idiot box'....

LOL @ Ozgod and RA. you guys look pretty stupid now. Katich has been your best bat on this tour and has outscored the likes of ponting and hussey !

Once again give credit were its due, he saved you guys.

Yaar and he has dropped 2 catches and stuffed up a run out. Get him out of my team!! :12:

How many catches has Krapich dropped this series?

I think its 3 catches and one half chance only in this test. Good for us if he plays in Champions Trophy. :D

3 or 4 catches in last two tests. But this innings he was moved away from 1st slip to 3rd slip and then to 3rd man after the drop. Then another drop today but luckily it came off helmet and didn't touch the bat. Ball still followed him and there was a chance (but can't really blmae him) where he jumped at midoff and the ball went over him by 2 inches.

commentators are having a laugh now

Well lucky for us he won't be playing. Krapich hopefully will never get the ODI team again.

Bravo HAS to stick around with Chanders at least till the lunch session. Chanderpaul will be bringing his tent tomorrow and plant it in the middle (i.e he is there to stay :p).

I think Aussies will win this one, but if WI pull out another miraculous chase vs the Aussies then it'd be something to remember for long time.

Chasing 400+ in 2 days time >>>>>>> Chasing 400 in T20 :D

They won't be able to bat for long enough to score the runs :9:

Been a good series actually and has been closer than the scoreline would suggest, the West Indies have been really good but keep dropping away in one or two sessions each match, those sessions we are taking full advantage of.

Casson has bowled 17 overs this innings which is encouraging.

Mitchell Johnson bowling junk again

What happened to the freedom of speech mate ? :p

Sorry that :12: was meant to be after my sentence about Mitchell Johnson but somehow got moved. :12:

Just for good measure India_Fan :12: :12:

Here's an interesting stat (if true) - seeing as the West Indies sent us in to bat, Sri Lanka also did this during the summer and England most famously (2/364 hehehe).

Australia have not lost a Test match batting first since 2003 - that's nearly five years.

And where the hell did you pull the stats out of ?

Yes the mighty Agit Agarkar destroyed us in that game....

One of his rare performances. fkin guy is too inconsistent.....anyways

Is there anyway that we could check team's record in a customized fashion like the one they have it for players ? (on cricinfo, duh!)

I would love to see if Windies wins this! I just want them to fight till the end and dont give up easily and they should remember that memorable chase of 418 against the same oppostion to motivate themselves.

We need to get 2 wickets before lunch here.

I'd really like to say that the Windies have a chance but in all likelihood they'll be bundled out within the next 100 runs with Tiger holding firm.

It's going to take a 100 from Bravo, a 50 from Ramdin and Tiger staying until the winning runs are hit for them to pull this off. Unlikely is being kind.

commentator saying cheaper prices today $20 (not $40). bring children along (in school uniform) and they go in for free.

$20 for 3Ws stand and $10 for ground (some stand??)

WI 240-3 - need 235 more

Sorry for the delay here ... the power has gone down at the Kensington Oval. We'll have an update for you when we can

WI 256-3 after 71.3 overs - need 219 more to win

Bravo hits Casson for consecutive sixes to cover area

187 needed now

WI in with a real chance at victory here - 187 is nothing if they play carefully.

GO ON THE WINDIES!!!

This is looking doable, especially when Casson's bowling.
