As I have expected Over-hyped Bhajji being Vice Captain of the team eats up the position of Ashwin once again

Good job RAINA and Coach

I hope you guys prove me wrong though

Bhajji wants to improve his overall record in WI.
Lets see how he does in England

Another good over from PK with loads of movement

8 for no loss after 3 overs

Munna gets a spanky lofted shot for 4 over his head from Talented Simmons

PK is doing a fantastic job here - 3 overs no wickets for 8 runs

Another tight over, just 1 run from it

21 for no loss after 5 overs

Good over from Munna, just 2 runs from it but we need the wicket of Simmons as quickly as possible

23 for no loss after 6 overs

Kirk edwards needs to get some runs here to try and gain a long term place in side.

Did I asked for Wicket that too of Simmons?

Yep! That's what I get :D

23 for 1 after 6.1 overs

BTW, PK gets the wicket

Simmons Gone, W.I lost there 1st wicket.

This series is ideal for likes of Kumar and Munaf to possibly be seen as 1st choice when India picks a full strength team.

No all we need is wickets of Bravo brothers and if possible Sarwan, samuel before the score reaches 100 :D

whats a par score here ?
23/1

Id say around 260-70.

Its always been a high scoring Ground.

Highest total on ground 413/5 India V bermuda

Highest Total chased for 272 by W.I v Pakistan in 1988

My wishes are getting fulfilled faster this evening :)

Junior Bravo is gone

Munna strikes

28 for 1 in the 8th over

W.I 2 down and struggling as was expected.

I can see Edwards getting out soon and with W.I not having much more batting to come they will be lucky to bat the 50 overs i recon.

Sarwan, Samuels and Senior Bravo have always done well against us. So I hope our bowlers don't lose the grip on the WI batters yet.

Somehow I feel Munna is bowling too straight today(lot of leg sidish balls)

btw,the pitch looks pretty sluggish & lowish so stats might not give a good indication & since we are missing lots of big guns, prolly 240 cud be a par score !!!

34/2 in 9.3

To Fellow Ppers, Did Sarwan and Senior Bravo played against Pakistan in the recent series? if they did, then how did they fair?

Get the wicket of Sarwan and call Majhar Majeed for Marlon Samuels :amir:asif (oh no!! where is butt?)

@Ahamedirshad - Its very common to use such GIF images in match commentary threads here in PP. Please don't take it in a negative way.

Wow

Practically empty stadium, I thought the Rockstars would have attracted a bigger crowd..

Cricinfo
A 9am start to proceedings, to make it convenient for TV viewers back in India. Outcome: Close to empty stands. Chris Gayle would say kiss-teeth if he saw this crowd.

Otherwise a good over was spoiled by that No ball from Mishraji

41 for 2 after 13 overs

Have you watched WIvsPak series? The stand was empty even though it was national holiday.:ibutt:inti are the culprits

Disappointing crowd yet again in Windies. On a side note, India has great depth in the spin department. Great future for India, good luck to them.

Unfortunately. It's from cricinfos fb page and yes I did watch the Pak vs Wi series. WI crowds have been disappointing SINCE 2007 WC

Unfortunately as long as Bhajji sits in the helms of decision making (like being Vice Captain of the team, or being chamcha for Sachin or being close business partner friend of MSD) we won't get to see the real talent of our other spin bowlers.

no worry Bhajji will prove Ajmal cheetah is better than him

Should have picked Saha or Dinesh.... either of them are better than the Patel bhai here...

Wonder if Modi passed a few rupees to Pawar for getting a Patel bhai in??
