Broad is a great bowler in English conditions and possibly better than Anderson abroad due to his height.

Saying that his batting has never been any good. His 169ish runs against Pakistan were Pakistan's own weakness... Waqar was coach couldn't tell his bowlers to bowl a bouncer than Yorker...….
So sad.

The problem is Broad never gets judged or be held to account for his complete lack of application with the bat by the team management and selectors. End result he never bothered to work on it or hasn't been made to work on it

Ishant Sharma under Dhoni would play every game performance or no performance. Under Kohli with the emergence of Bhumra, Shami, he knows he no longer has a guaranteed spot in the team and now that India does not consider him for ODI's and T20's there is no real margin for error. End result Ishant's bowling has picked up
