If there are 8 teams then only play each other once.

I believe teams playing each other twice is a better to assess each team's respective strengths and weaknesses. Hence 5 or a maxium of 6 teams

with 5 teams, league games = 10, x2 =20 (as teams play each other twice) + 3 playoffs + Final = 24 games

with 6 teams, league games = 15, x2 =30 (as teams play each other twice) + 3 playoffs + Final = 34 games

And I believe that 3 playoffs (idea first devised by IPL) is a much better format than a simple 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 SFs adopted my most sports. If 1 or 2 or both have one bad game, both are out!! But 3 playoffs ensure that at least one of the top two teams reach the final. The loser gets a second chance as well. So makes it more likely that the two top teams during the league stage would again contest the Final which is how it should be.

Don't think the PSL needs many more teams, maybe just add one more. Anything more will make the league less competitive and longer.

Same format, meaning two teams get knocked out in the first stage.

Agree. Fewer teams ensures that players are switched on in every game as every game counts.

2) Before the tournament, PSL specified that they are not banking on ticket fees

Already got a team from Punjab, KPK, Balochistan etc, hence a team from a new region needs to be added.

As mentioned earlier, a team from Kashmir, FATA or even Gilgit.

Which other cities should have a team in the PSL?

I must admit that I’ve enjoyed the PSL tournament so far. However, I would like the format to become a bit more competitive as far as qualifications to the semifinals go. Basically, from the 5 teams, only one team misses out from making the semifinals. In other words, every team has a 75% chance from the get-go. It should be more competitive than that. I would also like to see more domestic faces getting exposure in the PSL. The only way to make these improvements is to include more teams in the tournament.

Which other cities would you like to see with a team in the PSL? Any team name recommendations?

think 2 more teams one from Punjab any of Multan,Sialkot,Faisalabad and 1 from Kashmir+FATA+Gb by any name e.g.Muzzafarabad,Mirpur or even by the name of Kashmir.

Faisalabad Fighters, Sialkot Smashers and Kashmir Warriors each team play other team once, guys if pcb can do this from next season it will be one heck of a successful tournament. One month duration 32 matches, short sweet and full of exciting games.

And shoul also love see some rule changes in next season as well. Max squad strength for each of the eight teams 20, from which 10 are pak players 8 foreign players and 2 emerging players and age must be under 23 for emerging. Playing XI should consist of 5 foreign players 5 pak players and 1 emerging player. This will also give everyone deserving a chance to make it to psl and will also give all teams hell lot of options to choose their best XI. It can't get any better i guess.

There should be a qualifying round between Rawalpindi, Azad Kashmir, FATA, Bahawalpur, Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad & Dera Murad Jamali.

Top 2 or Top 3 teams should be added to PSL in 2017.

I wish next year few PSL matches take place in pakistan.

I pray that law and order situation improves further in Pakistan.

Yes, having few matches or first league in PAK would be tremendous. Just beef up the security and conduct it, couple of years down the line it should move to PAK

Yep Sialkot is too small to have a sizeable marketing potential. The only thing going for it is it can have many cricket gear related sponsors.

A team from Sialkot means support of the population of Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat and other smaller districts nearby. Which is pretty sizable population if you ask me.

Best addition would be Kashmir but i think they to spread it over more ground's to allow fan's from those area to come in a enjoy the games which also mean's more full stadium's.

I truly believe the first game of Psl 2017 should be played in Pakistan. Just the first game and then the rest in the UAE.
I'm sure Pakistan can arrange security for one game.

PSL is a 8 team model , now with multan we have 6 teams so two more teams have to be added , i think that has to be Kashmir and a team from north sind like larkana etc.
