What's new

What was the last thing you ate?

I find paratha better than naan. Naan is too dry for me.

Aloo paratha is the best.

I agree there to be fair, garlic naan is alright but I probably should have obtained a tandoori roti or another paratha instead

Bit of rain & yet slight chill in air , had piping hot masala khichdi [ 2 types of lentils & rice cooked together ] with ghee - chilly tempering ,curd, aloo+paneer pakora's with dhania-pudina-mix chutney & some diced cucumber-tomato on side . I am on a no sugar plan for a fortnight btw .

Went out with some new people I met at Uni. Had jackstew curry wrap. Suitable for vegetarians as the place wasn't halal so had to stick to that. Was very different and nice

Daant.

My staple dish, which Mrs. Nostalgic dishes out in copious amounts.

TMI?

If you ever steal eggs from a nest while the mother hen is busy elsewhere, you are a poacher, and the eggs are poached eggs, by definition. Afterwards, you can fry, boil or poach the poached eggs. This last approach will give you poached poached eggs.

In Bangladesh, it is called poached egg (even if it is in oil).

Imagine that. Close to 200 million people consuming fried eggs, yet convinced they’re consuming poached eggs. I wouldn’t want to be the one breaking the bad news to them...

Haha! True.

Not everyone likes eggs though. There are many who find eggs disgusting.

I eat everything (as long as it is halal). I don't dislike any food.

Making baked chicken right now.

Never baked chicken before so hopefully it’s great 👍

Just had paratha + fried veggies (eggplant and potato) + fried eggs.

All the best.

I need to learn how to make chicken dishes.
