Bone weights mostly vary between 40 and 50 as far i know. With your age, you are fully fit and healthy, good.

You think you are over weight?

Not at all.. I have a very toned belly area and if I put in the hard yards and eat right for the next 2-3 months I can get 4-6 packs (I already have two upper packs). Easier said than done though.

I have been going to the gym regularly for the last 5 years.

Can you list down what is right eating to get a toned belly?

Have a proper breakfast (alot of working professionals skip this)

Biggest meal of the day should be lunch

Have dinner about 3-4 hours before sleeping

Avoid fried food, rice, white bread/saufaaid atay ki roti..

Couple that with running 2-3 times a week and you would have a very toned in-shape body.

Bhai if I cant eat rice or roti, being a desi what am I suppose to have for lunch? :danish

That is a very valid point :afridi

Being a desi you can't eradicate rice and roti completely from your meal plan (I still have to see a DESI person who has done it).

What you can do is to limit your desi foot intake and focus more on fruits, nuts (unsalted), fish/chicken, - multi vitamin, egg whites and drink lots of water.

So your meal should/must Consume 40%Carbs 40%Protien 20% Fats.

72 kg. Perfectly normal weight for a 24 year old, 5'11'' guy.

54 kg is very low, you really need to gain weight.

Body fat percentage is 11. Really working hard to get it down to 6 or 7 but it just seems too difficult. Used to be 25 9 months ago. Body fat percentage is key for abs. Usually they start becoming visible under 14 percent. Mine are toned but If I get it down to around 7 theyll look amazing.

Lot of Skinny guys on this board. May be you are all youngsters.

The Pakistanis I know in real life are all chubby.

100 kg. Too much. Want to get back down to 88 or so. Trousers don't fit any more.

How exactly are you consuming 40% protein? That's about 200g of protein a day. I don't even think there are foods with that much protein.

25 years old, 6'2'' and around 80Kg. Will try to get back to 90.

It's doable... if you are some olympic class bodybuilder, otherwise 200g of protein is an insane amount for a normal person or even a recreational gym go-er. 100g to about 150 g MAX is enough, otherwise you will be taking regular trips to the bathroom.

In any case to get more than a 100 g most people opt to take a protein shake which in itself gives you about 20 - 25 g sometimes 30.

73 kg.

Probably gained more after April, since that was the last time I checked.

Tell me, how many of you used Google's lbs to Kg conversion calculator to post your weight here? :farhat

Avoid fat, sugar and bread. Keep your portions as required, don't overstuff. Most importantly, try to identify food and activities that help pick your metabolism, this is very crucial.

Final year in college, my metabolism slowed down, and I was approaching 80kgs. But something triggered it back up again, and now I am settled at 72kg, 15% body fat, and I don't even worry about what I eat. :inzi

Most wouldn't have, kg is pretty much the main unit unless you are a special snowflake from the US of A.

Also I think this is all getting very suspicious. There is a post a pic of yourself thread, how tall you are, where you are from, and now a weight thread :13:

Something is up. :srt

Next will be what is your name thread :farhat

Body weight does NOT matter.

Fat percentage and waist size is better indicator of health.

I am 6'0" 90 KG with 32" waist and slightly visible Ab's. I look leaner than guys weighing 75 KG at same height because I am carrying muscle mass. People who are athletic and workout are densely packed, muscles occupy less space. 1 KG of muscle = 1 KG of fat, but fat occupies more space.

There are guys who have exact same weight and height as me, but they look obese for same reason.

It's not the body weight but low body fat that makes you look attractive, if you aimlessly drop weight you will end up skinny fat, your body composition will not change, you will just shrink yourself with same body fat and softness.

Avoid fat, sugar and bread.

You are wrong, never ever avoid fat. Reasons -

1. Fat controls body hormones. You don't want to mess up with your thyroid.

2. Your sexual drive and libido will take downturn. Erectile dysfunction is common.

3. Testosterone levels will plummet, you will feel lethargic and wasted all the time.

4. Body will start to hold on to bodyfat. When you drink less water or consume less fat, body starts to retain water and fat, goes to starvation mode, that's why some people say their love handle fat is very stubborn. You should eat more than 50g of fat every day.

5. Skin will start drying and flaking, hair will start to fall, brittle nails, so many complications from less fat consumption. You will age faster.

Read about macros.

I meant the bad fat. Fat source in Desi diet is mainly ghee, makkhan and oil, that is to be avoided.

^^ Btw, when I say avoided, I mean consumed in moderation, something North Indians in particular have a hard time doing.

Mine - 54 Kg.

What's your height brother Roary? You might be severely underweight. Also don't listen to the crap about not eating rice/roti etc. People have lived on that stuff for centuries without issues. Just avoid processed food :srini

So everyone here is pretty much 5'11? hard to believe :farhat

6'4 85 kg :asif

Are you from Delhi?

176cm and 62Kg I am sure will lose around 2 Kg in ramzan and need to gain it back later.

How old are you?

24

5'3 or 5'4 i guess, not more than this. Because i remember once i went for an Army test and they required 5'6, cleared all tests but stuck in medical and it says me height is not up to requirement.

Haha i never listen to any crap, i don't eat meat, chicken, fish, e.t.c i only eat pulses, rice, vegs and guess i am perfectly OK with that.

The number of slim tall guys is way too high in this thread.

Time to never open this thread again.

People have mentioned height because looking at weight in isolation with considering age, height and gender is not very useful.

This one is quite popular..

Typical Naan in Pakistan:

Although they are generally a tad bigger than what are shown in the picture.

In my house we used to have Chapati during lunch and Naan during dinner..
