What's new

What was your weight when you last checked it?

I wanted people to guess :( Okay, just for you. I weight 185 lbs ish, 5 ft 11 and a half, probably 6 ft on mornings. :misbah Gained a couple of lbs every since I started Uni; Stress eating :(, though this Ramzan will help with that.

Hmm that's ideal mA - keep it up!

You need to start eating heavier breakfasts and avoid eating heavy dinners. Milk, yogurt, organic eggs(2-3), bread(French toasts, bread with cheese, peanut butter etc.), cereal, fruit smoothies. I can't decide for you but your breakfast should be nutritionally dense with high servings of protein, calcium, other minerals, vitamins and enough carbs. Once your stomach starts to adjust, you can add meat to the diet(preferably white meat in the start).

You're in your teens so your body still has time to grow thicker(bone density, muscle mass) if not taller.

Thanks a lot for the advice Chacha. ;-)

Will definitely consider following it, especially with summer around the corner.

I weight 49 kg, man. :)) Same height, maybe a little taller.
You have a normal weight mashaAllah.
What is your secret? :)) I gain weight so fast it's unbelievable. :P
It's totally natural. :))

Most girls dont like being asked their weight :misbah
See she didn't mind. :P
The easiest way is to have a big breakfast because you can eat the same thing every morning. Try to eat whole grain bread with cheese, use peanut butter, have omega 3 enriched eggs and a big glass of milk every morning. You'll get used to it eventually and feel better throughout the day.
Thanks for your advice, but I can't really imagine eating this much at a time. :)) I think I can start gradually eating more at breakfast.

Of course, it's about gradually increasing your intake.

100kg. I enjoy walking and lifting, but I also enjoy food. I am both muscular and fat. Lol.

I was 80kg when I was younger, and that seems a long way away now, so I would settle for 90kg as a compromise. Just need to do more cardio exercise and I would soon get there.

I'm a bit comfortable though. Married now. Less motivation.

Yes i know but i cant find any reason or motivation to reduce it :( .

My weight distribution is odd as well, no extra fat on arm's legs etc. most of my weight is at my belly.

This is quite normal - the 'apple shape', same as me. Just do more jogging / running and it all gets burned off.

If your happy with it then it's fine.

Put on some weight. 5' 7" 80 kg. Gym membership is there, and I am not even going that frequently.

I have a huge issue with people posting their height in imperial units and weight in metric. Maybe it is in the engineer in me that is having a mental breakdown.

Height in imperial and weight in metric sound better. :))
