Where are the marches, wall to wall coverage of mournings etc - same that happened when NZ mosque was attacked?

Have we become densensitized to this extent?

We are too busy with non-Pakistanis getting killed in Kashmir and Palestine.

Meddling in other countries and ignoring our own problems has been Pakistan’s state policy since 47, and it has been the key reason why the country is in the dumps today.

Unfortunately, that mentality has trickled down to the people as well, who feel more strongly about the struggles of Indian Kashmiris and Palestinians than the plight and persecution of their own countrymen.

The media has a very important role to play in building or reflecting opinion in society. I have no idea how these killings are reported in Pakistan or what sort of coverage they get. Third world public are generally ill-informed so role of responsible tv and news media becomes even more crucial in this regard.

There is outrage but the state media is curbed. When this happened in PPP & PML N tenure than the same media and their string pullers did politics and defamed civilian governments in public eye.

Heck even CM balochistan and PPP’s Government was sent packing Major

State is behind this Massacre of Hazara Shia Muslims. And that is the problem.

This thread summarises it quite well :

TalentSpotterPk, your countrymen are blaming India for the killings in Balochistan.

How is Pak Government behind the massacre of Shias? Can you please explain?

Pakistanis are more concerned with the killings of Muslims in faraway lands such as Palestine, Burma, Europe and Kashmir.

They turn a blind eye to the persecution and killings of Shias, Hindus, and Christians in the Land of the Pure.

I've just ran out of words. These things are out of our control. There is impotent rage in all of us regarding such issues but I personally don't know how to channel that anger. Its not desensitization. Its the feeling of despair and hopelessness that I find myself in right now.

I agree with that list except Kashmir. Kashmir is not a faraway land, it is right next door, a neighbor and can even be considered an extension of Pakistan. Don't try to throw them under the bus to make a point, Pakistan needs to protects all of its citizens.

Still very little reaction in Pakistan with this.

Asif Ghafoor had the time to congratulate Australia on beating India, but it appears that he doesn't have much time to speak on Hazara genocide. His TL is still filled with tweets about India.

Our warped priorities have ensured and will continue to ensure that this country will remain in the dumps. Pakistan is beyond any cure.

He also had ample time to portray Usman Khawaja as a member of the Pakistan army when Usman was smashing 50s and 100s against India.

Total silence on the ongoing Hazara genocide. On 10th April, Ramzan Mengal was released. He routinely spouts hatred against Shias and also leads pro-army rallies.

Bro were you invited in that valima ceremony in Qatar, which was postponed by taliban.

You ran away like a clown in the other thread while discussing Shia genocide. Even you know that your arguments hold no weight.

No bro, I caught your intentions there. You are an afghan citizen who hold the grudge against Pakistan & Pakistan Army. You were the man who was yelling genocide genocide to terrorism.
Let's an eye on your own country issues. Do you even know why these hazara (your own countrymen) migrated to Pakistan. The real genocide is what, what afghan people & govt have doing against them since ages.

Again, you have no idea what you are talking about. Again, you are using the same argument. ‘Killings of Hazaras is justified because they migrated to Pakistan and they deserve whatever comes their way.’

What a warped mindset!

He feels very proud about has tweets and most people of Pakistan also doing bangra our those idiotic tweets. This shows our mentality.

So what is your point ?

This is no secret in Pakistan that Lashar e Jhangvi, Sipah e Sahaba & ASWJ are behind Shia Massacre. For Hazara Shia Muslims genocide is the appropriate word.

Wajib ul Qatal fatawa of these terrorist outfits for Shia’s are available and anybody who is aware of state complexities and “ strategic assets ” knows very well that who harbours these snakes.

Read my comment again. I will be glad if you discuss some Afghan issues here too or your country is heaven on the earth.

This is interesting

PML-N’s Sipah-e-Sahaba group and its cost to Punjab
March 12, 20108 Min Read

The pattern of by-elections in Jhang and PML-N’s alliance with Sipah-e-Sahaba is a worrisome development. However, this is not the first time that PML-N has established alliances with terrorist organisations. Only a few days ago (in February 2010), PML-N forged an alliance with a terrorist Mullah Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid (the spiritual father of all suicide bombers in Pakistan) in order to grab a few dozen more votes in Rawalpindi. The alliance with Mullah Abdul Aziz was facilitated through the notorious pro-Taliban journalist Hamid Mir (of Geo TV):

Some civil society observers monitoring the polling went aghast when they saw strong Lal Masjid brigades in the afternoon of that fateful day taking positions inside most of the polling booths, driving out the PML-N candidate Malik Shakil Awan’s opponents’ polling agents and later stuffed the ballot boxes to their will, ensuring PML-N’s veiled agenda of patronizing terrorism within Punjab for their political hegemony at all costs.

Lal Masjid Maulana Abdul Aziz taking credit for Shakil Awan’s victory later said that Sheikh Rashid never came to him for apologizing being part of the Musharraf government that had launched military operation.

It may be recalled that about a week ago Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah having ties with the leader of Jamaat Ahl-e-Sunna (formerly Sipah-e-Sahaba) was spotted touring Jhang with the chief of this terrorist organization in an attempt to gain votes, which later also led to a heated debate in the national assembly, where the members angrily shouted shame, shame for blatant patronization of terrorism by an overtly democratic party.

While the members of the civil society kept wondering what lies in store for the nation and the country, especially when a mainstream party like PML-N fully unveiling itself has come out openly harboring and patronizing terrorist organizations under a game plan aiming at try capturing power by all means.

Apparently, what we are currently witnessing may be termed as the (re-)emergence of the PML-N’s Sipah-e-Sahaba group.

It may be noted that PML-N’s Sipah-e-Sahaba group has in the past attacked Christians, Shias and Barelvis in various parts of Punjab, particularly in areas surrounding Faisalabad, Jhang and Sargodha. For example:

Daily Telegraph reports: “Pakistan faces Christian protest after eight people ‘burned alive’”

– “Missionary schools across Pakistan closed on Monday in a three day protest against the deaths of up to seven Christians who were burned alive in clashes with Muslims”
– “Two children – a brother and sister aged six and 13 – their parents and 75-year-old grandfather were among those killed in violence that broke out in Gojra in Punjab province on Saturday”
– “One report said that six Christians died in flames, while two were killed by gunshots”
– “Muslims torched Christians’ homes following unsubstantiated allegations some of them had desecrated the Koran. Some 40 homes were burned down.”

There were 14 people killed in Balochistan only two days ago and Pakistani woke twitter is busy trying to win a chevning scholarship writing about government hypocrisy on the Hazara. No demands to avenge or soothe the fallen or their families.

Again, you have no idea what you are talking about. Again, you are using the same argument. ‘Killings of Hazaras is justified because they migrated to Pakistan and they deserve whatever comes their way.’

What a warped mindset!

Bro don't waste your time giving attention to this hypocrite. He can't stand Shia Pakistanis standing up for their right to live in peace and wants to generalise every violent event as terrorism and proxy war. There is no such thing as Shia genocide according to him. That's how blind he is.

You understand the meaning of word genocide?

Yes, Shias are being targeted by terrorists but is it a "genocide"?

Yeah tell that to Imran Khan. And again they are not being targeted by terrorists. They are being targeted by fellow countrymen who have full support of influential people like Rana Sanaullah and other PMLN dogs.

Bro, a terrorist organization has an agenda for genocide but does it make it a genocide?

View attachment 90644

Hence genocide is the correct word for it.

Genocides are enacted by states when we talk of proper countries, not by small groups as they simply do not have the resources for wiping out whole races/sects. Surely you can see that? Unless you are saying that the Pakistan state is involved in this?

Almost every Pakistani has condemned it.

Everything is depended on economy.

A common man is worried about putting food on the table and if you ask them they would condemn it but the life won't be halted. It didn't even halted after killing of Army school kids.
