Babar: I thinks its Babar: huge number and very passionate team followers, no consistent support from any other batsman. He knows, if he lost his wicket, team will lose, mots likely.

Kohli : Huge following and great expectation and captain too, but he always has other batsman to give him support and ease up the pressure. Batsmen like Sharma, Dhawan, Rahul, Dhoni to name a few.

Williamson: Their best batsman and captain: but has long list of batsmen and all rounders to support him.

Babar probably is always under most pressure and credit goes to him for being so consistent and keeping the fragile Pakistani batting intact.

KW does it consistently. Babar hasn't soaked up the pressure in an innings like today for a while, there's a reason this is his best ever innings.

David Warner

He's coming back after a ban and Australia heavily relies on him to score.

Dont forget haris sohails knock against saffers and now against black caps

Easily Kane Williamson. Babar has often times gotten a good start to build on (think England, South Africa) but Kane Williamson is practically opening every single game! Their opening is horrible and it's the main reason for today's batting failure. 236 was not par for this ground.. at the minimum it was 260.

Warner is definitely up there. He could have been easily dropped from the playing XI after the ban he suffered from. Really brilliant from him to make a comeback and so effectively.

Kohli is carrying the hopes and expectations of a billion people. Doesn’t get more pressurised than that.

Still has quality players like Sharma and Dhoni around him.

Babar has duds until Haris was brought in.

All other , except Babar have quality batsmen around them to support team in case players like Kohli, williamson and Warner make an early exit from the crease.

Aaron Finch is there with him

Finch has been brilliant in this world cup but everyone had their hopes pinned on Warner before the world cup started.

It is not easy to come back from a ban, play in the biggest Cricket tournament in the world, and score consistently as an opener facing the best opposition bowlers.

He isn’t responsible for their performance. To be that consistent and win as many games as he has won is unbelievable. If he retired today he would be the ODI goat,.

Ginch struggled when he became the captain,it is not easy to score when you are captain, thanks to pakistani bowlers to make finch so good,

You’re missing the point. I’m not saying Babar is any way better because he has duds around him unlike Kohli. This is about the pressure of carrying a batting lineup. Babar literally carries our batting whereas even if Kohli doesn’t perform you can expect the likes of Sharma, Dhawan to stand up and take the burden.

Kohli still has pressure on him regardless of who is in the line up. You think he average fan will say oh Kohli if you don’t score someone else will. They expect him to score in every game.

Amla- SAF never has won a world cup despite being a strong team, chokers tag, senior most team member, not a pressure player even by general standards
Kohli - captain, expectations of billions, Dhawan out, has to keep his reputation because of being moderate in the past world cups, not strong middle order
Babar- expectation of millions, on a positive side -still a rookie, PAK TOP 4 including Harris looks reliable

Williamson - NZL never won world cup, captain, not so strong batting line up.
Root - ENG never won world cup, pressure of huge expectaions this time being a strong team

Babar needs someone to accelerate for him. This was a low total. Still match ended in 50th over. If Haris had not played that aggressive knock things could have gone haywire.

KL Rahul is a honorable mention. Doing the fill up job. ON another side batsmen with less pressure

1) Russell - They are going to keep selecting him
2) Gayle - THey sure are not going to drop him do they
3) Dhoni - another guy who can screw up teams N different ways with slow batting. They will keep backing him
4) Monroe - certified hack who has no commonsense while batting

In my view the guy who actually FELT the highest amount of pressure was De Kock by some distance. He was the most nervous batsman on view in this world cup. Even his interviews were nervous. Such a talented batsman succumbed to nerves in this world cup.

more importantly 'has to main the reputation of best all round batsman of the era ' combined with ' carrying the hopes and expectations of a billion people. Now that is a deadly combination

He is also the captain of the team. I don’t think posters on PP understand how difficult it is to be captain of the Indian team with the expectations of the Indian fan base.

Easily Babar Azam he’s literally been coming into bat in the first three over because our railu katta openers either one fires or the other and always one of them get out before 3 overs. Also he’s our only and proper bat who you can bet on to score some big runs now that we have Harris Sohail it’s better but easily Babar Azam there is no argument here

Is this really a question?

Kane is captain and essentially opener.

Babar rarely does it and to rest of the cricket world he doesn't have the same expectations.
