Company behind Bol is Axact who made hundreds of millions of $ selling fake degrees. For them few crores in Pakistani rupees doesn't mean much. I give them credit for being only proper HD channel. Likes of GEO, ARY etc look straight from 90's.

M sure Civilian government isn't giving my parents hard earnef tax money which they gave for Pak progress for this Jahaaz Mercedes etc so what's this than ??

M certain that Shoaib Sheikh isn't generous enough to give gifts worth Billions.

The funny thing is, for any TV channel to succeed and spend even half as lavishly as Bol does, they need to have adveristments because that is where the earning comes from, espeiclal news channels. But Bol has not taken a single ad. So, they're not earning a single penny off of this let alone break even.

The judge in fake degree case confessed to taking a bribe for exonerating the CEO.

ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions judge confessed to taking bribe amounting to Rs 5,000,000 in the Axact fake degree case and acquitting Shoaib Sheikh in return, according to a show-cause notice issued.

As per the show-cause notice, judge Pervaiz-ul-Qadir Memon of the District and Sessions Court admitted to taking a bribe of Rs. 5,000,000 from Axact CEO Shoaib Sheikh and acquitting him in return. This allegedly took place in the Axact fake degree case. The show-cause notice further mentioned that Pervaiz-ul-Qadir admitted to taking the bribe in front of the Promotion Committee. However, Pervaiz-ul-Qadir has now denied the allegations and challenged the show-cause notice in the Islamabad High Court.

Hearing of the case will be conducted tomorrow at the Islamabad High Court. Proceedings will be heard by Justice Aamir Farooq.

Pervaiz-ul-Qadir has been suspended and a response has been sought from him in 14 days.

I don't know about the other stuff but as far as I know when people win those prizes they are required to pay tax on it. Who is going to pay tax on a private jet? and then those people will have to keep the plane somewhere and hire a pilot to fly the damn thing. Its nothing more than a publicity stunt. Even if someone wins it they wont be able to afford it.

This video shows that they don't really even give people their lesser prizes. In all I find that whole BOL enterprise very shoddy.
