Why do Asian sides bat so poorly in South Africa?

Sl had Sa on the mat@18/3, and eventually 235 all out. But dissapointing with the bat.
Why cant Asian teams post at least 300 in first innings in a rainbow nation when most of thebtimes they bat well in countries like Aus?

To be fair to Pakistan, they bat poorly everywhere.

I have to say its due to SA bowling that is absolutely phenomenal in SA conditions.

Steyn, Philander and Rabada the trio alongside Olivier. The batting is workable for SA conditions as well. The issue is when they travel in Asia. The bowling currently in Asia doesn't remain the same and batting also regresses as well. That is the real test.

SA will still remain a solid team but to be the best in business gotta make wins happen in alien conditions.

You should ask , why do SA bat poorly in SA conditions?

Just being slightly better in home conditions against inferior bowling is not enough.

Not like SA do well there. Only place where Sreesanth made SOuth Africans sitting ducks. Only reason they offer pitches like this is because they have constant supply of great fast bowlers.
