Of all players currently, Sarfaraz Ahmed, though not very popular in India, is respected. I personally like Yasir too, but people in India don’t know much about him as he doesn’t play limited overs.

Amir and Umar Akmal were highly regarded as talented cricketers when they first emerged. It's hard to believe considering Umar is universally mocked now here, but things were different 6-7 years back.

On that topic, another Pakistani batsman who went from high esteem to nothingness is Imran Nazir.

Amir probably. I also keep hearing how Sarfaraz is a "cool guy," though I personally don't like him

Hafeez also has a certain respect maybe because of his attractive shots when he's on song.

Afridi was the last Pakistani cricketer to be sort of loved here, though he polarized opinions. Most fans believed he was a good guy though slightly mad and a slogger but was someone to be enjoyed when he came off.

If you include the recently retired ones, then I would say Misbah ul Haq. He is still quite well respected among the better informed Indians.

Now i guess Shoaib malik is liked by many here. Among former players Wasim, Imran, Waqar, Akhtar and afridi are loved by many. Misbah ul haq is also well respected.
