Why do Pakistani fans admire & appreciate Virat Kohli way more than they ever did Sachin Tendulkar?

It's because in Sachin's time there were good Pakistani batsman as well and even though they weren't as good as Sachin, there was a perceived batting rivalry. Today you look at Kohli and then at the Pakistani batting line up, and there's nothing to compare. Kohli is so far ahead that there is no competition in that respect.
