Why is it that whenever a player debuts like bang and after a year there is nothing left.e.g
1. Nasim shah and hasan ali were bowling 145 and after year or so stated bowling 137
2. Abbas was 130-132 and mow he is bowling 123-125
3. Shan masood was consistent in South Africa series scoring fifty in ever inning in that olivier series and now he is looking like tailender

Sangakkara once said that the first year in international cricket is the easiest for any new player - it's only in the sophomore year and beyond that things get difficult after your opponents analyze you and work you out.

It's then up to the player to then turn around and solidify his strengths and minimize his weaknesses, while working out his opponents in reverse.

Simple. International teams especially from the big 5 adapt and make plans against you , the onus is on you to evolve and work hard on your game continuously to keep on adapting. Our players for the most part stick to their comfort zones

Yeah, I doubt in our case the opposition needs to work much in terms of analysis. Our batsmen start becoming tullaybaaz and our bowlers lose pace drastically.

The thread is spot on, although the usual suspects will be in here telling us we have no talent.

They just don't evolve or add new skill sets over time. Basically once the novelty wears off they are left with nothing else to offer other than big mouths. Pak needs bowlers in the mold of Babar, who could keep their heads down and continue to work on their game. I mean a nobody like Naseem Shah saying he likes to see fear in the eyes of batsmen, I mean like WTH!! Who would fear him except perhaps bunch of under 11s? Jazba, Junoon and badmashi are only acceptable when you have the skills of Akhtar or Waqar.

Whats that got to do with loosing pace

Was hearing Shoaib Akhtar one time that Waqar Younis was making irfan do running on the stairs i told him thats not his training you will loose him by doing this. He was telling Waqar makes everyone do same training when we know everyone has different body amd different training.
