2 talented all rounders who have impressed early in their international cricket career.

Who will have the better career?

Chris Green is looking way ahead in terms of potential as of now. Around 6ft 6 tall and can ball at 140kph plus, showing a lot of promise with the bat as well in domestic cricket. Looks temperamentally strong and has decent basics in all the facets of the game. If he remains injury free, will have to work hard for that as he has been injury prone but if he is able to to that he will definitely be a player to look forward to in this decade.

Its a shame the way Mulder's limited career and overall development has gone so far. He was considered the next big thing in his U19 days and looked like someone who can fill in the role of that regular all rounder slot across the formats which SA has been trying to get since Kallis however, his batting at international level is still to flourish which is not as big of a worry currently in his career as his bowling. He is bowling in 120s which is definitely not one would have expected in his u19 days when he showed much more promise.

Cameron Green might be the most legit all-rounder since Andrew Flintoff and Abdul Razzaq.

Yep, I said it.

Green might actually become more of batsman with time but i will be surprised if he don't finish his career as next Australian great. Haven't seen Mulder yet.

Saffers don't develop/back their talents for a variety of reasons. Green has potential to become the next Kallis. But then again I thought Mitch Marsh was more gifted than Stokes and that went nowhere.

Kallis was better than both

Kallis for me was a Tier 1 batsman. Whilst he was a good bowler with respectable stats, his bowling didn’t captivate my imagination like his batting did.

He was in the same category as Inzimam, Dravid, Michael Clarke during his era as a batsman. Probably better than all 3, but not in the top 5 fast bowlers in the world during his time. He was a great cricketer none the less.

I’ve set my own bar in rating a genuine number 5/6 who bowls 145kmh as a strike bowler. I think Cameron Green is of that mould. None of the all-rounders in the last decade have been of this caliber IMO

I like Mulder, I think he should be given more opportunities as a genuine all rounder.

I was not at all impressed with Green when I saw him on India's tour, but I know he rated highly, so we need to see how he progresses. Aussies had the likes of Henriques, Mitch Marsh, Dan Christian, and the likes who went no where but I think Green is a level above. We have to wait and see.
