Good.

Will atleast make the series more competitive, although we will still win it comprehensively.

Wish they could select Sammy, too.

not good for us, Narine will bamboozle our players especially on Guyana pitches.

Simmons has always been a Pakistan basher

Don't think they will make much of a difference, but you never know with T20's where someone could just have a flukey good day.

Why don't they select Sammy?

Carlos Brathwaite has done next to nothing in his career apart from those four sixes. Sammy still wipes the floor with him as captain, bowler and batsman.

WICB's Chairman's ego won't allow it after Sammy publicly criticised the board last year.

He's not playing 50 over cricket as the WICB policy is you are only eligible for selection if you play the domestic 50 over competition.

However things may change with new CEO Jimmy Grave and new Director of Cricket Jimmy Adams who replaced Richard Pybus who introduced the policy.

A Top 7 of:

Fletcher
Lewis
Samuels
Simmons
Pollard
Brathwaite
Narine

Indeed looks deadly

deadly is a strong word.
They are inconsistent players. Samuels and Simmons are not the same anymore. can't expect a big knock from Pollard either, he's only good enoguh for a quickfire 20-30. This batting line up can collapse easily as well because top order is very inconsistent.

the bowlers can win a match for WI but not the batsmen.

Narine, Badree, Williams, Taylor, Brathwaite is a good enough attack for t20s. DJ Bravo will be missed.

No Hetmeyr- the young player is the best thing to come out of the Windies for many a year and he cant find a place ahead of journeyman.

Is this normal to make announcements in mid series unless there is an injury?
