Indian air force provides operational update

While the ceasefire is holding, the Indian air force says in a social media post that operations are “still ongoing”.

The air force’s description of operations in this kind of situation typically includes assessment, monitoring and state of readiness.

It added that a “detailed briefing will be conducted in due course”.

Operation Sindoor still going on, India sends a message despite ceasefire

"We have a very clear position on Kashmir. There is only one matter left - the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). There is nothing else to talk about. If they talk about handing over terrorists, we can talk. We don't have any intention of any other topic," government sources said according to ANI.

Further, the sources revealed that India has made it clear that it does not want anyone to mediate in this matter. "We don't want anyone to mediate. We don't need anyone to mediate."

This comes as US President Donald Trump offered to mediate between India and Pakistan on the long-standing Kashmir dispute. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on the other hand, welcomed the mediation offer and thanked US President Donald Trump for expressing his willingness to do so.

The source was quoted as saying that:

"Normal relations with Pakistan cannot resume."

Big talk from a nation which chickened out after 1 attack.

India must give up the idea of taking POK.
Pak must give up the idea of taking Indian Kashmir.

Only then peace will prevail. Put history behind and work towards peace and development. Otherwise both nations will be forever stuck in the past.

Both countries have given no proof of jets downed or pilots captured. Any one who believes this stuff is truly delusional now.
Chest thumping at best. I read News on Indian media and some foreign media that India destroyed so many militant bases and some top LET commanders killed. Then we come here and read the opposite.

Every Western outlet including CNN and BBC posted proof from burnt engines to pilot seats on the ground. The only one screaming against this are Indians.

Just like the genocide in Palestine. The UN, UNWRA, Amnesty, ICC, MSF are all liars and anti-semites here it's the same thing. Everyone is lying but the Indians are telling the truth. India pulled the same trick in 2019 and only changed their tune once we bought your pilot (distasetful I might add) infront of the screens. Otherwise you would have denied that as well.

BBC verify also did a very detailed account with pictures, engine parts and concluded the same thing. Believe me your military knows and learns hence why they threw money at the problem after 2019. The only ones who they keep brainwashed are you guys. There's a reason why Modi govt restricted 8000 accounts. It was to keep you guys in an echo chamber.

We know as our government does it the last 2 years.

Just browsed military channels from the US and Europe on Reddit, India is being laughed at. And here we have their people with necks buried in the sand.

According to Pakistani media, Pakistan might have captured an Indian pilot, and there are reports that India may have taken one or two Pakistani soldiers. There could be behind-the-scenes negotiations for an exchange to resolve the situation. These are just speculations for now. Let's wait and see.

Pilot is 90% confirmed I'm told.

2 nations fighting with foreign toys. The money that could’ve been spent on useful stuff like modernizing their respective countries.

India’s opposition leader demands special session of Parliament

Congress party chief Mallikarjun Kharge has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene a special session of Parliament after the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan.

“In view of latest developments Leader of Opposition Lok Sabha [the lower house of Parliament] has already written to you again conveying the unanimous request of all Opposition parties for a special session of Parliament to discuss the Pahalgam terror, Operation Sindoor and the ceasefire announcements first from Washington DC and later by the Governments of India and Pakistan,” Kharge said in a letter to Modi, which he also shared online.

“As Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha [upper house of Parliament] I am writing in support of this request.”

Totally agree.

And I am afraid this is not over yet, could still be very dangerous for people on both sides.

I have nothing against the people of Pakistan. I see them no different to Indians I see here. Its very unfortunate that people are dying. Modi has a strong man persona. He has to show that his government is doing something about the Pahalgam attack. If he does not, he will lose next elections. It will be used as a weapon against him by the opposition.
I knew this Operation Sindoor by India will achieve nothing. Small scale skirmishes and operations will never yield any result. A few dozen innocents die. A few army men die. Some Jets will be downed. Some missiles intercepted. Lots of things to discuss for keyboard warriors.
Haha, 9.9/10 for effort.

All those posts that have been critical of Islam, Pakistan etc. And now this, sure, very convincing!! Lol

Colleges, universities in Pakistan’s Punjab to resume classes tomorrow

Many schools in Pakistan had shut in recent days due to the fighting with India.

Local news outlet Dawn is now citing authorities in Punjab as saying that colleges and universities across the province will reopen on Monday.

Exams are expected to commence, too.

Punjab is Pakistan’s most populous province, accounting for more than half of the country’s population.

I have friends who occasionally engage in conspiracy theories of western defence companies hiring a local kashmiri hit squad to create trouble on the border every 3-4 years. Sounds absurd I know.

if US wants to really help either India or Pakistan, they would. US very well knows that India will come to them for latest fighters and proper training and India will spend billions after it is proven that Russian and NATO jets are not that good.

It could be true. Whatever truce that Trump said he achieved between Ind-Pak seems to be untrue.

Both been saying this since it started to kind of hard to buy tbh. Hopefully just fizzles into nothing. Otherwise will definitely become a full war because no one will keep face with a 2nd ceasefire.

I doubt theee will be a full scale war. This operation by India was to destroy the terrorist targets in POK. Not to take over the land or any annexation plan. That will never happen considering Pakistan has nukes. It’s a major deterrent.

That's also idiotic reasoning. Terrorist infrastructure is not fixed, they move around and can rebuild in weeks.

As for killing terrorists themselves, let's assume they killed 5 at best. They easily helped recruit 1000s more. I don't see in what way from a military objective this operation can be even remotely resemble success.

This is why I was against any military action on the specific targets. The terrorist camps move and can easily pop up at a different location in no time. This operation yielded nothing but innocents and sown soldiers losing lives.

Apart from elite class and some cowards, 80% of pak population including army would rather die happily and peacefully enter Jannah if India decides to nuke Pak , so you think Pak people with this mentality will think twice before nuking India?

Just look at the peace and happiness on the face of PAF army soldiers faces in the videos they released before they begin the operation bunyan al Marsoos. You will get the idea.

That’s scary to think.

Go watch some videos when drone where hovering in Pak , people were actually gathered around it and try to shoot it down with their own ammunition and started making videos of it , can you imagine defeating such a nation? Only a delusional person like Modi can think about it.

Can not put it past the cowardly Indians. Israel will be even more alarmed seeing a strong Muslim Millitary and will not stand for it. The Pakistani armed forces need to vigilant for the worst case scenario
