I just saw in a Crickrt Australia social media post a headline about Aussie cricketers leaving for IPL despite covid surging in India. And then I googled and found that IPL is literally starting in 10 days. How quickly time flies. I felt like it was going on few months back.

Anyways it seems Covid is back in India but the event will be held. Would be some achievement if they can pull it off!

Good luck!

You are not wrong, it was going on until November last yr, after 5 months it is back again! 😂

Oh I guess. Just remember seeing threads. I guess I assumed it happened similar time last year but now I remember it was postponed to UAE

No man. Obv genuine. This is about lives not some cricket records and statistics

Well then.. I guess BCCI will try its best and put bubbles around and spend some money.
For last IPL they spent 30 Million USD alone on building bio secure bubbles, In India they will have to spend more.
It definitely will be more complex to pull off.. So hats off to them if they do it.
Else they will be named and shamed like anything.

I’m assuming there won’t be any crowds. If there won’t be then why not just do it in UAE again

Cost is less and at home BCCI have more administrative control. Having said that, BCCI needs to pull out IPL from Maharashtra. Ambani won't like it but the Government in Maharashtra is in shambles - big talk but extremely corrupt and even more inept.
