It was his first innings and in overcast conditions too.since his debut, he is the highest scorer for us in almost all the series. We are opposed to selective stats and filtered lens of blind haters.

What I like about Jaiswal is he plays his strokes rather than concentrating on spending enough time on the crease. That is the first quality I look for in a player in Test cricket. That's the same thing I appreciate in Head. While spending time on the crease in important, it should not be more than scoring runs at a good pace.

This is the same thing for which I hated watching Dravid and Kallis bat. Good batsman both as evident by their averages, but simply not good enough to watch as evident by their strike rates. You need to score your runs at a good pace so that your bowlers can get sufficient time to take the 20 opposition wickets.​
