You Know Things are Bad When.....

when a player who isn't even in a squad makes the starting XI.

And a tour of SA is approaching, with Steyn now back to bowling at 150kph :steyn

What could possibly go wrong? :))

Also on topic, things are made even worse when posters tell you Hafeez is a good option as an opener.

When your hoping a hopeless Wi team might beat Ind & make pak fans day!!

We have our own match today which we will win iA.... so its only you who is banking on other results to make your day.

Rayudu is your number 4 batsman in ODIs.

Very high batting standards for Indians. He would actually walk into Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and maybe even Australia's current batting line up

When englands numbers 8 9 & 10 are better than paks whole batting line up.

When you are watching the Pakistan women's team and wondering whether these are actually the best XI players in the country.

When you look at pakistan womens wicket keeper batting at 10 with an average of 5, is there no other female that wants to be a wicket keeper in Pakistan?

You pinning your hopes on Mohammad Abbas hitting the winning runs in a test match.

When the batting can't even chase down a substandard total in UAE.

Not much to be honest - knew 170+ will be tricky. Even at 37-0, I wrote that tomorrow starts as a new day.

Just didn't like few comments yesterday, otherwise I myself is really hurt for this loss. Don't think that if there wasn't any emotional attachment, I would have watched this game at 4AM in this cold night, at the start of a new week.

Test cricket is all about character, which comes from top - Ken has it, Sarfraz doesn't; other wise he is at least better than scoring 5 runs in 2 innings.

Same situation. Stayed up till 4 am Monday morning for this rank shitshow. Yet people still have the nerve to defend this hack and say no he shouldn't be replaced. These are the same type of people who probably wait till the flood is knocking on their bedroom door before they decide to evacuate.

When you know our team is the next West Indies but you’ll be seeing a thread prior to SA series titled ‘Pakistan can make major gains in the icc rankings’

When the street-fighter captain fights hard to hold back his tears during presentation ceremony

When you have lost to West Indies, Sri Lanka twice and NZ within your last 6 Tests in UAE.

I have seen this a lot with Pak batsmen who bat with tail, they actually have the tailenders going for shots... I saw Hasan Ali hit a six when Malik was the set batsman last month and he pulled it off... But a lot of times it doesn't and the poor guy cops it, but I genuinely have started to believe it's your team's startegy because your main batsman are not completely confident of hitting boundaries at crunch situations....

A lot of blame today will go to Hasan Ali and that new spinner but I think they didn't have a brain fade while batting, it's the usual style with Pak team now....

When your batsmen are batting as if they are facing Murali and Warne, when actually it's Sodhi and Patel.

When you check the Stats and see Azhar Ali is level with Inzi on being Run out in tests

When fans think the loss is due to lack of experience but then you see the amount of games Azhar ,Sarfraz,Yasir ,Hafeez, and Shafiq have played . :kp

When certain players in your middle order have been playing for 8 years in UAE and they fail to chase a small total.

Okay, at 37-0 you can say NZ had a chance. But Pakistan losing last 6 wkts for 24 runs on the way to a 4 run defeat?

When you wish Shadab was an offie so he could play the next game.

That's explained in last line - this doesn't happen multiple times be with YK or not with YK. Last year 135 became too much, this year in Asia cup 239 became too much in an elimination game against a half decent attack .... every time, you'll see a pathetic surrender by the Captain. In fact, I have seen Courtney Walsh showing stronger spine with bat as Captain.

When Azam Khan is picked in the PSL ahead of Zeeshan Malik, Hasan Mohsin, Saif Badar and other more deserving players.

When 15 people turn up to watch pak (10 of them ground staff).

Most fans are done with this team when ur no 3 batsman can’t hit a boundary under pressure they won’t waste there time/money!!

When fans desperately hope that Shan Masood will be picked for next ODI ...............

When fans desperately hope that Shan Masood will be picked for next ODI ...............

For me he will be the first name on my list for SA odi tour. But inzi will say meray paas jaga nahe ha,,,and imama and hafeez will fly.

When your batting tail starts at number 7.

When Pakistan’s best batsman (Mohammad Yousuf) doesn’t get a guard of honour but Mohammad Hafeez does.

When fans say we don't have a replacement for mediocre Sarfraz...

Shan Masood is the best batsman in the team..LOL how mighty pak have fallen.

When PP mods are contemplating on whether or not to open a thread for the 3rd test pre - discussion, only after day 2 of the 2nd test.

When Pak bowlers look mediocre on good bowling wickets. That's where it all ends for Pak considering it's bowling legacy.

Asad Shafiq raises his bat after being out for 88 as if he has won the match or scored a hundred!

He knows that this 88 in yet another losing cause as far as his performances are concerned, has secured his place for next 20 tests.

What? I didn't see that. Weird to raise the bat for 80 odd runs when you are so far behind in game.

There are multiple threads with active/enthusiastic discussions to celebrate every half century knock.

Oh My God.THIS!
I legit cringed at this when he walked off raising his bat after getting out at 88 as if he had displayed some class heroics resulting in a near-impossible win.

The pressure of not performing must have taken a serious toll on him.

When you're happy that you're losing a test on the 4th day instead of 3rd day.

When there is a thread in PP actually discussing bowling plans to get SA out for under 41 tomorrow. Talk about overt optimism!

When cheerleaders are pleased that Pakistan have managed to take the match to day 4.

Despite a 3-0 thrashing fans take comfort Baba hit Steyn for a few boundrys.

When PCB sends out press releases regarding the PSL to distract the public from a 3-0 hammering.

When people are jumping up and down excited at seeing de Villiers playing a few games in the PSL, on the day that the national team got thrashed.

Agree with you completely. That news has hardly affected my day. My first reaction to hearing that news was "So what?" Hardly a cause for celebration is it? One player confirming he's willing to travel to Pakistan, that's all it is.

When paks opposition don’t even attempt to make 280 as they knw pak will be skittled out between 180/240.

When the opposition doesn't even bother to take risks in the latter stages in an ODI.
