Exactly my point bro i jus said it above few posts ago.

The likes of England are gonna trounce all over us because of our inability to score in excess of 280+ consistently or 300+ against this weaker opposition like Zimbabwe.

Another power play blunder also which we seem to never learn from past mistakes!

And the last 10 overs which are just so slow and defensive. We do not have a power hitter or finisher anymore.

Razzaq is being ignored for no reason what so ever! Afridi I can understand because of his retirement but surely a finisher is needed in such a weak and YOUNG team!

but, but Razzaq's days are over, he's too old!

Even though this is a winning total against Zims, by Pakistan's standard, this to me is a RUBBISH and PATHETIC total!

Should easily have been a 300+ total but Pakistan just do not bat with intent, they don't take advantage freely and just like to play boring cricket!

It will not work against stronger oppositions at all.

team composition is a huge reason for this...they dropped Shehzad when he had shown the ability to convert his 50s into 100s, besides him only Hafeez has scored a ODI 100 for us this year!!! not being able to score 100s and that too at a GOOD pace is a huge reason for this...

but too many over here would rather love tuk tuk players in the team instead of opting for complimentary team composition

I am just so glad Waqar is done with coaching...we desperately need a new batting approach and hopefully the new coach can inject a far better attitude on the team...our batting lacks serious direction...the kind of start we had today, 300 should've been the minimum we should've scored instead we are quite happy to end up with 270/5 )

Umar Akmal continues to be wasted in a role that he should NOT be burdened with and instead should be allowed to play his game at no.4 position in ODIs & T20, but he is continued to be wasted down the order at no.6 putting unnecessary pressure to finish off the innings on young shoulders...it is not easy to do so, took & years to master that art...besides Umar is a proper batsman and not a slogger ffs!!!

not having your best batting talent playing at optimal position to enable him to dictate terms is a travesty and one of the huge reasons why we simply don't know how to construct & finish an innings!

and we've been saying this for far too long now with no improvements in sight...only hope is that whoever the new coach is, he's able to inject a more aggressive attitude than the current laid back, defensive one!
