He is performing when no one is. Even Binny is underrated.

If Binny had got 60% of the chances Sir RJ got, he would have made more of an impact.

i agree with you, i am beginning to like both of these guys.
Give me grit over flair anyday.

Give Rayudu a test spot too!

Let's see if five fielders outside the circle in the last ten overs makes any difference.

Good show by Binny, i can't buy why he is not replacing Jadeja? His batting is way good than Jadeja

Oh no, its Venkatesh uh...Prasad...uh...on commentary...uh.

On a serious note, Zimbabwe's big weakness is death bowling. At the WC and in Pakistan they bowled some real tripe in last 10.

Just like Pakistanis rate anyone who can hit big more than guys like Fawad or Shafiq. Most Indians rate stroke makers like Rohit more than a Rahane or Rayadu.

Rohit is far better . Its no myth. You need to back match winners

Here we go again, Panyangara is a good new ball bowler but he just CANNOT bowl at the death.

An Indian batsman except sehwag dealing in boundaries in 90' is commendable. well played rayudu

Jadeja plays as the second spinner who can bat a bit. Binny is a batsman who can bowl a bit of seam-up.

Their primary roles are different. Don't think one can replace the other.

If Jadeja continues to struggle, Axar or Bhajji or Mishra will replace him.

You cant have 7 match winners, field em if you can find 7. Till that we should at least back the guys who are doing decently. Rahane and Rayudu aren't flashy like Rohit but they provide stability in the middle order.

And even Rohit wasn't great early on his career, only in the last 2 years has he found some consistency. These 2 need to be persisted with, not dropped every 2nd game.

Both have time and again played knocks to show they have it in em to play match winning knocks but the position they play in (often 4 or 5) doesn't allow em to do it as often as Rohit or a Kohli. Even Dhoni has come up to 4 to contribute more.

Never rated Binny tbh, but its nice to see him play positively. Better than the likes of Tiwary, Jhadav who were eating up balls heading no where.

Better bowling. India will be happy with around 250 given the situation they were in before.

I am not against playing them but not in expense of Rohit. You need a couple of players like him

this is amazing 150 runs partnership between these two. played positively under pressure.

Cheers Brian Vitori, just offer Rayudu another juicy full toss why don't you ?

As of Binny has replaced Jaddu (5th bowler/slogger).

Axar and all are playing in bowler's slot.

India's match. Zimbabwe's bowlers yet again fail to capitalise on a good start and didn't maintain the early pressure. Outstanding partnership by Rayudu and Binny.

Two of the most maligned players doing well and rescued us from what could have been a disaster.

Well played Rayudu and Binny. Should be a winning total on this pitch

I wouldn't remove Rohit either, I was just pointing out how fans have no problem with Rohit getting a longer rope but want Rahane and Rayudu out.

Ideally it would make sense for Rohit to move down to 4 because he has the game for a middle order batsman but he's made the opening spot his. While Rahane traditionally an opener, has to be given time to adjust to the no.4 role. Not be dropped and criticized by captain in PC's.

Well played Binny and Rayudu, should be easy victory for India

I would be extremely surprised if our trundlers defend this score. 250 is nowhere near enough and Zimbos are not a bad batting side.

The trick on this ground with such early starts is, out of the total 100 overs, the first 25 will be very helpful for fast bowlers. The batsmen will feast on the remaining 75 overs. There was a reason why Chigumbura chose to bowl first here.

This pitch has already turned into a belter. Now watch the Zimboks smash our lulloo bowlers, unless it slows down considerably and the spinners come into play.

New ball will still swing and seam if our bowlers bowl properly.

Binny seems to be our minnow specialist :msd

On serious note, good to see him doing well.Always thought he got a hard deal.Everybody laughed even after he did well in BD and scored a 50 in England and called them flukes, but hes proving himself

Problem is with their SR.Rahane got a good enough rope at 4 before he was dropped but apart from one innings he always gets stuck and derails the innings. Can't even rotate the strike.Hes good at opening but thats not available

Just because hes great in Tests doesnt mean his failures in ODIs should be ignored

with the new rules Binny is better than Axar/Jaddu.Hes the best batsman among them and doesnt need to complete quota now.We can do with Binny,Raina,Rohit etc

Trying to watch 3 matches at once now.

I think Josh Hazlewood just got the outside edge of Tamim Iqbal and Bhuvi Kumar has taken the catch...

Had it not for Binny and Rayadu. Two players indian fans love to hate. They would have gotten bundled for 50 runs.
