Need to get to tea without further loss. 160-3 at tea would be a good session. then bat the final session with perhaps the loss of one more wicket. so by end of play A decent score considering our rubbish start would be another 80 runs in the final session. so thats 240 -4 by end of play.

then day two I would expect another 160 in two sessions with us all out just around tea for around 400 odd. then we can bowl them out for around 160 and that should be that.

thats a consertavie estimate. an optimistic one is these two his massive hundreds and we get to 550 odd. but thats not gonna happen with our batting. but you never know.

worst case is we get to 310 all out.

Just realized that we've only played 3 test matches this year so far, before this one. we've got 2 vs zim, 2 vs sa, and 1 vs sri lanka before the year ends. that makes it only 8 test matches in the year!
