Afridi's analysis looking good. Apart from Asif no bowler has impresses other than the all-rounders. Sami and Rana have no place in WC squad.

Whether I missed the point is irrelevent. Just making sure that you agree he is responsible for all our victories (which are mroe than defeats) so overall he has been fairly successful.
make sure you think of him the same way you do now ,when his mistakes cost us the WC.

It's 5:14 am and i feel like eating a paratha!

This late night cricket sucks, doesn't it. At least it's a weekend and I can sleep all day today (who wants to do anything when the weather is 19F).

I will.

Because I don't base my opinions of a 15 year veteran on what he does in one tournament.

SA 206/3 in 32 overs.

So ... how much are we looking to chase today??? It seems 325+ is very much on the cards ... and a couple of really bad overs can push them over 350. It's going to be very tough ... will require a lot of mental discipline.

I think Sa will score 355

What do you guys think?

Pakistan have 10% of winning the match,

0% if SA get to 350.
I think we'll keep them under 350.

we'll be chasing around 350 at this rate unless we can pull it back in the slog overs..looks like karachi 04 all over again...

someone in the team said that our bowling attack is the best in the world, better than Australia !!!!

YOunis KHan...

Well if we have bowlers like Rana we will never be a world class attack..

it actually is, considering a team like NZ and England can score more than 300

A test match bowling attack of Asif, Shoaib and Gul would be, just that its never been put out

I think Bears will take the trophy.

well it would be funny to see Manning choke again, but I think the Colts look pretty good to me here.

just checked the Aus v NZ scoreboard, damn that Ponting, he's playing another masterful innings. watch and learn boys watch and learn

I think we should bring back Sami for a couple of overs. He needs to ball anyways, better now, against these two batsmen, than towards the end when Pollock/Boucher are throwing their bat at anything.

Rana ... I'm not sure.

Why isnt Razzaq bowling today
at the moment im glad his services are not required, the spinners are bowling well, plus him being another medium pacer he might get hammerd as well

I might toss the ball to Asif and see if he can pick up a wicket or two in his last 2 overs.

oh i forgot to ask...did you want a partha too?

I like how Razzaq looked up to suggest the sun got in his eye .. No other team in the world makes these sort of mistakes.

Eish, I wanted that wicket ... even tho I am a Proteas fan .... just to see some more aggresive batsmen

yeah what happened to Razzak, maybe inzi forgot about him !!!
after the pasting dished out to Rana & Sami i dont think Inzi will want to "unleash" Razzak :)))

meh he cant bowl, cant field, is an ordinary batsman most of the time so why is he even playing?

Rightly so, Razzak just dropped a dolly, he is in no form to play Cricket after a long injury layoff.

im glad razzaq dropped it...prince is a slow player, and whoever that would have came in next would have scored faster..

35.2 Shahid Afridi to Prince, 2 runs, dropped! Can you believe it! Afridi's livid with Razzaq! This one was looped up on the stumps and Prince gets a step or two down, eyeing the onside, gets under it and ends up top-edging the attempted heave straight up into the air and Razzaq, moving in from long-on, drops a sitter

Thats a bad bad miss...........

Afridi has been very steady and has bowled according to his field and deserved another wicket but probably a blessing in disguise- the new man in Kemp and then Boucher and Pollock could take it to 380 - longer these two are out there - we can maybe restrict them to under 350

i wont comment on afridi's batting, but he's def a constant ODI performer with the ball, enuf to merit in the place soley on his bowling / fielding / presence?

Even Afridi's most fierce critics, will have to admit he has bowled VERY well.

229/3

if we can only keep them under 330, we may have an outside chance.
Speaking of which, whats the most runs pakistan has chased to win in an ODI? Anybody?

Prince very lucky there, that barely missed the stumps!

Afridi takes a good wicket, Razzaq hangs on this time!
