Marcus & Smith both saved by umpires call.. Azhar given wrongly out by the same umpires and you still complaining...
 
Umpiring has gone against us this match so not sure what the fuss is about. That was umpires call end off.
 
Actually in this series most of the umpire calls went against Pakistan. I don’t know why lads are unnecessarily complaining
 
If we get a draw here serious questions at some of the failing batsmen needs to be looked at, we cant afford passengers in the side.

Again very impressed with the Aus slips standing where exactly they need to be, they are creating chances by standing where they can get a catch, judging the pace of the pitch and the spin....

On the other side, have seen numerous times for Pakistan ball dropping short of slips , keeper and the close in catchers (short leg and silly point), they can learn this art from Aussies..
 
Babar and rizwan now playing swepson like hes shane warne.
 
The LBW decisions close but if not given out they are within the rules...same umpire given decisions in australias favour earlier in the match so calm down people.

Australia shouldnt have dropped those catches..thats where the real frustration lies.

Babar ain't gonna last here now.He is itching to get out.But nonetheless this is his best test innings.
What a monumental effort by a wonderful player.

If pakistan had wickets in hand, i wouldnt had minded them going after 196 in 36 overs (26 with this old ball). But they will have to play out the draw here. last two batters with faheem, nauman, hasan, sajid and shaheen coming next
 
Win, lose or draw we should be grateful for australia travelling to pakistan, I have the utmost respect for them after what our kiwi and english cricketing friends done to us.

Australia deserve a trophy i mean it.

I dont think so. The pitch here is flatter, so a decent team is expected to survive.

In Mohali, Pakistan were playing away and the pitch had enough in it, and you were saved by 6 & 7. Here your main batsman is playing the role.

I would still say that your escape act against us in Mohali was better than here.
 
The umpire made a good call considering how far down the batsmen was.....raza is a good umpire n has had an excellent series.

Plus the aussies have ne reason to complain considering azhar was given out when he wasn't.
In short u can't have the cake n eat it too
 
Last session is gonna be very tough to survive.
In my opinion Pakistan will lose comfortably.It has happened countless time in test cricket.

I don’t think umpires should umpire matches involving their own country. It doesn’t happen in football
 
As an Indian I fail to understand the amount of hate Babar gets from some of his countrymen. He is among the very greats of modern cricket, certainly the best Pakistan has produced in a while.
 
If babar and Rizwan bat another 21 overs, maybe both teams may settle on draw before last hour. big ask though.
 
Its hard to defend with close catchers on last day pitch that has enough roughage to alarm the batsmen. Hopefully Pakistan will not makw the mostakw of batting Sajid and Hasan Ali before Nauman as he is proper gritty tailender with yood technique to bat. Nerve wrecking session coming up

With DRS in play, I dont see this as a problem. The aggrieved party is free to use the DRS.

Also, the decisions that went Pakistans way were in no way blunders. They were so close that they could have gone either way. You really cant blame the umpire for such minor decisions, especially not on bias.

I don’t know why people are so nervous. A draw is the most probable result here. The pitch is dead. Honestly was so excited for this test series only for the pitches to ruin it. Action should be taken against us for producing rubbish pitches like these. Only then will we learn and not do the same thing next time when a big team tours

The Karachi pitch is okay. The Pindi one was horrendous and a disgrace to how Pindi has been playing in recent memory.

Yeah, Nauman can bat. He should be ahead of Hassan and Sajid. Everyone should be ahead of Hassan now. This is not his game.
 
These two still probably needs to bat atleast 25 more overs. Swepson bowled beautifully just before tea. There'll likely be 10 overs each from Cummins and Starc in this session. Need to survive those.
 
Pakistan should absolutely try to chase this down.

surely not that would be daft ...although to be honest losing 6 wickets in 35 overs would be silly but 180 surely is too much 140 odd maybe yes..

Also the target is impossible. Don't see the point of chasing. Given the feeble batting after this pair, one wicket and its advantage Australia massively.
 
Loved the way how Lyon told Rizwan to move and not get too comfortable.

This is a tough game and the Aussies are not here on a diplomatic tour. WTC points are up for grabs and they are here to win!

With WTC points at stake, losing this match when a draw is so easily in our grasp would be tough to take. Victory here is almost too good to be true.

Posters forget Ahsan gave Rizwan out in the firat inning whwn Rizwan was yard out and ball missing stumps quite a lot. The review over turned the decision. So a.lot of umpiring has been in Aussies favour.
 
Test goes the full distance of 5 days and all three results still possible...anyone still complaining about the pitch?
 
Come on Rizwan keep playing that sweep. Safe shot against Swepson with hardly anyone on the leg

Some things are so historic that WTC points etc seem trivial in front of them. We're talking about chasing down a target that was never attempted since the birth of this game..
 
We should only go for the win when there is no possibility of us losing. These points are crucial for WTC.
 
Iftikhar power hitting will be missing here. Fahim is neither a bowler nor a batsman.
 
If target was <450 we probably would've gone for the chase.

But it's good to see us looking to score than just dead bat. You need to throw the spinners off their lines and lengths.
 
The Aussies can bowl negative lines anytime and restrict the flow of runs no doubt about that, they are still not doing it because they are looking to take wickets but once they will shut shop, it will be difficult to score without risk of being dismissed to negative lines.

Pitch should still have been spicier. It was only Aus's aggressive decision to give nearly 6 sessions to bowl which has made the game interesting.

Had Aus enforced follow on, or had they batted for an extra hour, the game would have had a bring draw written all over it.
