Rizwan is a sitting duck when trying to dead bat. It’s best that he keeps playing his shots

Pitch is still poor. It was only Aus's aggressive decision to give nearly 6 sessions to bowl which has made the game interesting.

Had Aus enforced follow on, or had they batted for an extra hour, the game would have had a bring draw written all over it.
 
Scored 28 runs in 6 overs since Tea. Just gotta try keep that rate, keep the singles ticking and keep that door of victory a tiny bit open just in case.

Still a very tough pitch with inconsistent bounce and spin.

Maybe maybe not. That's conjecture.

As we stand, this pitch has made for an exciting game.

Absolutely brilliant that was. Got me so hyped for this final day that he can go on to do something special, which he's doing.

Australia sacrificed almost their entire 2nd innings to make a contest out of this match and yet it's difficult for them to force a result in this test, so obviously pitch wasn't too great.

This is very exciting stuff and I hope that Riz and Babar will keep up this scoring rate for as long as possible. But if a wicket falls soon, we will probably have to shut up shop.

A certain someone, let's call him Negatron, was overemphasizing the importance of T20/ODI cricket over Test matches but the former cannot hold a candle compared to the latter. Irrespective of the result, people woill remember this match for years....
 
Rizwan has given Babar solid support whilst moving the scoreboard.Gem of player who is top wicket keeper as well.
 
Waqar has to be one of mose clueless commentators of all time.

Literally all bowlers have struggled.. singles out lyon for no reason lol
 
Need to stop playing maidens and capitalise on old ball right now because it'll only get harder when the new ball is taken.
 
so draw is the most likely result. lahore will be the decider(if that pitch is not a graveyard as well)

Scoring will not be so easy when Starc and Cummins come back on. That's probably why Rizwan seems to eager to attack the spin.

Lyon has looked worse than the rookie leg spinner on their team. Rightly singled out, sorry.

130 to win in the last 20 is very much doable with two set batsmen

Wow. After all the criticism of pitch and intent for 8 days, the series has come alive.
What a show by Pak batsman. Babar is proving why he is regarded as one of the best in current cricket world.

The have to start scoring 5 run and over for next 10 overs, If no wicket lost, go for the target.
 
What a truly dreadful pitch. You would have thought after the pindi debacle they would have created a better pitch, out of shame if anything. More of the same to come in Lahore I’m afraid

Lyon has a history of failures against Pakistan, that's what Waqar was pointing out
 
Rizwan will never get out to the sweep shot especially around the wicket and that even against sweepson
 
Babar score of 187* highest score by captain in 4th innings. Record of 24 years broken. Wow. GOAT.
 
Aussies were laughing alright, especially Warner, Labu, Carrie but they not now because they have been frustrated by Babar and Rizwan.
 
Its going to be a hard fought draw , no need to go for a chase and let all the hardwork of last 5 sessions go to drain.

There is 0 chance of Pakistan win so enjoy the tuk tuk with occassional shot as there is a match to be saved. Aussies can easily set up defensive field and bowl negative lined if they get a hint that Pak can approach the Target.
 
Rizwan should hit out.. Send in Shaheen and Hasan if wicket falls. If difficult from then as well, Babar and Faheem can play out..
 
Coming of age innings from Babar. I'm hoping he will now crack on and make this a regular occurrence. Also shows the benefit of playing at home for a players confidence.

I still remember that chase against SL with defensive field, Though it is tough ask but put under pressure anything can happen, But i think Baber is going for safety 1st.
 
Pakistan need 140 from 135 balls. Rizwan approaching a 50, Babar batting on 180+.

I'm backing them.
 
Australia have to ask serious questions of themselves for allowing this to happen consistently in the 4th innings.
 
There is no reason in the world Pakistan shouldn't go for the target. It is risky but doable. One for the ages. So what if they fall short.
 
Just tuned in...brilliant test match - awesome fightback by pak. This innings of Azam has to be one of the best going around in recent times. Well played to shafiqe and then rizwan - wonderful-hats off - to make test match so exciting
