They should have continued with this guy12thMan said:when will WI realize they need to start playing a specialist spinner
Gayle drops Collingwood at first slip
or even Dave Mohammad. he did alright in few matches he played. there is no change in WI bowling, they are probably all tired and Gayle is not good enough for tests because if he was then he would have bowled a lot more than 6 overs.PlanetPakistan said:They should have continued with this guy

unfortunately his career ended due to politics.

Collingwood seems to be hoodwinking people over his ability. On pitches with movement he has had it. Take Perth for example where he couldn't score a run. The pitches that are flatter though he takes his chance though like Lord's, Lahore, Nagpur, Adelaide. In the last match he did get 100 yes but he was plumb lbw very early on and Rauf gave him a life. He does take he chance very well i must admit and has scored the runs in past year. But as much as love his fighting attitude and his allround ability that we can turn to, he can actually be classed as a FTB and as you said should be first on the hitlist when people are coming back.Whippy said:Sorry but today showed that Collingwood is a very limited test player unless the pitch and weather are perfect. A bit of movement and cloud cover and he's had it. He should have been out about 20 times and deservedly was in the end.

And it's only 5 days away from Summer in England!

Whippy said:I get some of the feelings about Cook that I get about Collingwood, though not as bad. Good servants they may have been but I dont think our best side would include either of them.
Augustus said:There's nothing wrong with Cook - he's a grinder, and has scored a ton in every series thus far. He's only young and he'll open up with the years. But he's by no means an F.T.B., whereas Collingwood and Bell are very much in that mould.

Yes it is BellHari Sombar said:Looks like Bell

Needs to work on his bowling then?Rob H said:Plunkett should really try to turn himself into an allrounder. His cover drives are perfect.
