i think its because he has usually played against us when other players in his side have been more dominant. for instance, against india, its usually chanderpaul who is india's tormentor. but the same is not true against australia, where lara is the main scorer.

I am supporting the West Indies in this series. I will always support whoever is playing against India (apart from England). That is just the way it is. You cannot help how you feel.

I like to remain objective but if you keep taking the bait I will keep putting it there.

ah if you were trying to "wind indians up" well certainly did not succeed with me, cant say for the others. as for supporting india's opponents, i can honor that, you have your reasons and i dont claim to understand them or make an attempt to do so for that fact. but if you claim that you are objective, now thats just plain baloni. but its ok, lets watch the match.
 
Vikram singh has a nice flowing action, just hasnt shown any potency yet.

By coming in at 3, Lara has made a positive statement of intent. And he batted in very determined fashion yesterday.

depends on the mood really. It tends to change.
 
If Windies can go into day 5 only 3 or 4 wickets down then they still have a good chance of saving the game. Will need a few more hours of rain though.

India dominated the first 2 tests, but the 2nd test is not over we still have a day and 2 sessions to go.

Hoepfully it will stop raining, India will have the momentum leading to the 3rd test, India has got the advantage in this series.

The WI have been lucky in this test, rain is saving them.

I Got a bit cheesed off seeing Lara on the pavilion laughin when the rain got heavier, he knows its a huge task saving this test for the WI, India deserves to win this test.

I totally agree - India deserve to win this test - WI have returned to their pathetic ways.

and dont depend on Lara - the need of the hour is for someone to stay at the wicket - instead what you will see from him is a flashy 70 and then he will be off leaving WI in the lurch !

Seems to me that WI can just about concentrate for 1 or 2 days and then go back to mediocre ways for the rest of the match - afraid it wont work with India.

India deserved to win the last test, and they deserve to win this test, hopefully for Indias sake it wont rain tommorow!.

WI saved by the rain wont do them any good (it wont).
 
The previous two tests on thsi ground lost an entire days play due to rain and both ended in draws, this could go same way.

LOL!, draw or no draw, India should have won the first 2 tests, the WI knows that, and if WI gains a very lucky draw in this test, its not going to do them any good.

Good ball but Ganga's judgment was probably at fault as well.

I feel that if India get Lara and Sarwan by lunch, they will go onto win. No idea why they dropped Bhajji (their best bowler in the last 2 ODI series and getting back to his old self against England in tests). I don't like Bhajji but he is quality. Bowling Kumble and Bhajji from both ends for long spells today would be the best way to take 8 wickets.
 
Lara will do his little cameo and go - India will win this.
 
Expect India to win tests 2 and 3 to wrap up the series, then a Lara century in the meaningless last match which makes him the 'bestest player in the world at the moment', yet again...

This definitely is no cameo from Lara. Never seen him so labored before. The thing is, getting into an abnormally defensive mode might infact backfire.
 
37.5 Pathan to Lara, no run, The ball hits the helmet kept behind the keeper! It was full, yorker length, just drifts in the air, heads outside leg, Lara tries to flick, doesnt connect, hits the gloves of Dhoni and rolls over to the helmet. five runs awarded!
 
Lara needs to bat the day for us to survive. The second he gets out there will be a collapse
