What's new

3rd Test: England v South Africa at Lord's, Aug 16-20, 2012 | Day 3

wht the hell southafrica are letting it go :O
this will b miracle frm england

Time for Steyn to show his class now, looks like SA's main hope to strike.

Think England will win this now. Which is incredible.

Just 65 away. Anderson can definitely hang around and keep one of these company. It's a case of SA needing both set bats out.

Tahir continues.

Fantastic cricket. Lets take it to last few overs.

What's with this obsession with Tahir? Get him off, he's roller-coastering the run rate!

Come on boyzzz.

Suddenly all the venom is lost when the heat is on for the Saffers.

OMG, England two runout and two dropped catches will cost you the number 1 rank in the world.

stupid stupid cricket!

I really wanted to see South Africa choke again. A bit of pressure and they were bottling. England how stupid!

Fear of new ball got runs but lost a vital wicket. Now, prior needs to hit few runs to take it close.

Prior involved in a runout once again. The pressure is on Anderson now - just needs to occupy the crease here.

Much needed strike before the new ball. Well played Swann.
Stop running around Tahir, you're useless.

If we lose this then it's entirely Smith's fault for not bringing on his best bowlers to finish the job. And ironically he would be the one retiring from captaincy.

ugh what a waste. Such a shame. A run out by Tahir of all people, who has quite nearly lost South Africa this game.

Supported him before, as he can actually spin it but no control. Just play four seamers, and occassionally on a spin pitch, play Botha. Who can't really spin the ball much, but at least has a brain and can bat.

Anderson survives the last ball. Prior to face Morkel.

His only mistake was bowling Tahir :)). And What a mistake that was. :)))

Tahir is bowling unabashedly filthy bowling. Suddenly non spinner looks like a good spinner. Atleast he blocks the runflow

This has got to be one of the most amazing passages in test cricket history since Broad came out to bat.

The end.

Or is it! LMAO no ball

Prior gone, think that's the end now. Remarkable fightback which should never have been allowed to happen.

Agreed, it was stupid to not bring strike bowlers.

Well, it's time for me to get my new internet settled! And at such a time!
