Wow Haris Rauf clocked at 149kph

Maheesha pathirana bowled one at 148kph in the opening match for srilanka.
Asitha Fernando 144kph yesterday.
Ebadot Hossain touched 145kph vs srilanka.

146kph from Hasnain 2nd ball! No warmup needed

Might as well add decimal point and make it RPO watch. Pointless bowling quick on these pancakes

Yaar theek hai we're getting hammered..
But watching 145kph+ is a thrill in itself 😍

Haris 153 and consistently at 150.
Husnain 148 and consistently around 145

Tells you pace doesn't bother world class batsmen especially in excellent batting conditions. They love pace and for the ball to come on to the bat.

The pitch is the key, we're playing on an absolute belter.
On a pitch with some assistance, genuine pace can become a threat even for the very best.

Come on man. T20s on belters can go like this. They have in the past, they will continue in future.

What the point of speed or bounce if you cannot take wickets?

Rouf easily bowled 10+ 150k balls. I've lost count. He is seriously quick.

He also bowled at a 153. He was touching 150 everytime he didn't bowl a slower one

Rouf bowled the perfect last over to go with his pace. Pathetic fielding what can you say.

All pakistani bowlers were pumped up and they were bowling very fast. That was very good to see

Rouf in white ball is the fastest in the world. No one is clearly faster. Nortje, Ferguson, wood on the same level perhaps.

I don't think any one bowled that many 150k+ deliveries in a single T20 match in the last decade (or since Lee ,Tait and Shoaib retirements) , Rauf an absolute beast today.

Hasnain was quicker pre ban. Now it seems like Haris is the fastest of the bunch.

Bhuveshwar was bowling at 140kph back in 2017. Whatever happened to his pace.

This was just his 1st game though. By the looks of it, Hasnain will certainly challenge Rouf for the fastest bowler tag.

Lol people compared Umran with Rauf.
Umran was barely hitting 144 kph in international cricket.

Pace was excellent from Pakistan quicks. On a flat batting pitch like this one pace doesn’t trouble good batsmen. The pitch used for 1st India-Pakistan match had plenty of grass. It helped quick bowlers.

He hasn't properly gotten used to his new action. Will take time. Has been selected a little too early.

Extremely quick stuff from the Pakistani pacers but even quicker of the bat of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Kohli. No point bowling this fast if you can't trouble quality batsmen on flat dead wickets.

He was bowling 140-150 kph. I am sure how much quicker you think he was but that's the pace he has generally bowled.

Either way, proper line & length is what he needs to focus on instead of trying to throw as hard as possible.

Hasnain is actually bowling quicker with his remodelled action. He was consistently at 145-150 km/hr today.

Those who dismissed value of PACE, will find out on OZ wickets in the next WC. Yes, these are not the same OZ wickets once they were, they still got much more bite than most. Pak just needs to keep the pace bowlers healthy - that is my concern. PCB dim-witted administration must avoid what they have done to Shaheen.

Rather than variations he needs to focus on bowling discipline, seam and swing.

Shaheen, Naseem, Rauf and Hasnain, all capable of bowling at 150, when was the last time we saw 4 pacemen in a team this fast at the same time ?

Not to forget Mohd Wasim Jr, Dhani, Musa. Don't think any country has had 6-7 bowlers immediately available capable of touching 140-150 km/hr.

If you saw him play in internationals, you would know that he always bowled around this pace.

In fact, he bowled more quicker deliveries last night than he did in his last few international games before than action change. He is bowling superbly fast and is only going to get faster. The fact that he bowled at 150 is a great sign.

Might aswell name this thread Pakistan bowlers’ speed watch. With Bumrah missing, no other bowler is coming close to our speed demons honestly.

Add dhani here we can easily youch 143 - 148.

As far as speed is concerned, indian bowlers can't touch Pakistani bowlers. I have said this multiple times Pakistan can produce these 150kph bowlers out of nowhere. :inti

Looks like Shaun Tait is having a positive impact on pacers bowled very well specially in the final overs.

All express bowlers :holding :akhtar:lee

Yup, his last few matches before the ban (BBL) he was around the 140-145 mark. He seems to have stepped up a gear. Last night he touched 150 and I remember a number of balls at 147-149.
Let's just hope he is sticking to his remodelled action and that kink is below 15degrees.

Anyone else find it frustrating that there no graphics shown at any point in last night's coverage that summarized bowlers average or highest speeds. They were doing that frequently in previous matches.

Four years ago Pakistan team which toured England had Rahat Ali,Mohammad,Abbas,Hassan Ali and Mohammad Amir. There was only one quick bowler namely Amir. Now Pakistan has Shaheen,Naseem,Dahani,Hasnain and Rauf who are all quick.Zeeshan Zamir is another one who has good pace.Naseem’s younger brother Obaid is also quick.Akif Javed,Arshad Iqbal and Sameen Gul are not fast but very decent bowlers.

Pakistan has the fastest quicks in world cricket currently by a mile.

Shaheen, Haris, Naseem and Hasnain can all bowl at 150+ kph. Three of these are under 25 years of age. That's pretty darn exciting.

They need to be looked after well to ensure they stay fresh. Only two of these need to play any game except for the crucial ones and the likes of Hasan, Dahani, Wasim and Abbas are able third seamers.

Indeed.

I would love to see these four on a green mamba SENA pitch.

Haris Rauf to Gurbaz, out Bowled!! Cleaned him up. 144kph! Speed and use of it.

150, 151, and 153 by Rauf in his first over against Afghanistan.

Lolwut? Even Sri Lanka is ahead of India? And Bangladesh have bowled more 140+ kph bowls per match.

Looks like the Lankans and Bangladeshis have upped their meat consumption. :yk
