Useful performance!! did his damage early on!!
NeVerMind said:I see the point now of why Inzy/Malik tend to bowl him out early on.
Guys he is only a young guy. Gotta give him some break. With experience, comes the greatness. Even Glenn Magrath wasn't as good as he became in his early years.Waqar's inswinging yorker said:needs to work on his bowling at the death
no.. he didn't finish well!!Waqar's inswinging yorker said:good bowling by yuvi!! now just needs to finish the over well!!

Dude, why always highlight the weakness. Why not his strong points or when he does do something good. This is called negative journalism. I know this is not real journalism but come on, how many times you guys point out all the good things he does?NeVerMind said:dude, just highlighting this point...nothing against Asif whom i believe will the best bowler around in 2-3 years time.

Fair enough. No hard feelings eh.NeVerMind said:Dude, I keep calling Asif the best thing since slice bread (unless that happens to be Dawn Bread!). Just noted this weakness today and something he can work on to improve. Hell, I was defending Asif against the idiot who was calling asif a test bowler only...

I would if I was in Pakistan but unfortunately and fortunately I am Toronto.NeVerMind said:Nope if you offer me some Dawn bread with some Multani halwa(Unless you remember that Inzy Dawn bread ad, you won't get it...)

I was there then but never had it.NeVerMind said:Well it was a long time ago...somewhere between 89-91...man, I am old...

When did you say this ad was shown?NeVerMind said:Well you missed a treat
(Btw the ad went something like this with Inzy saying that when he is away on tours in forgetn countires there are two things he misses the most...Multani halwa and Dawn bread!)

It must be after th World Cup because before that, Inxi wasn't even popular.NeVerMind said:Well I lived in Pakistan between 89-92 so it has to be then...Don't remember it?

Absolutely right. But then again, this is Afro-Asia cup and no player takes it vey serious. Nothing to take away from Pollock. He probably played the best knock his career. Congratulations to Pollock on hi great great great performance. I wasn't even watching it on tv but I still enjoyed it watching on cricinfo.NeVerMind said:Well that was fun while it lasted...respect to Pollock for an outsatnding innings...maybe he should consider playing purely as a batsman for South Africa, eh?
Well, next when come to Pakistan, I'll make sure to contact you to get me some Multani Halwa. I at least know where to get the dawn bread from. Unless they don't make it anymore.NeVerMind said:You are right, nobody knew him before that...must have been after the 92 WC and Dawn bread must have signed him immediately after that...
