Pollock's innings reminds me of M Beven's innings in one of the ROW vs Asia matches in 2000...IIRC Beven made 185* and ROW chasing 320 lost by 1 run.

That was a quality innings I rememeber. IIRC, 6 was needed off the last ball and he didnt miss by much either

Ya, I also remember that match - Asia batted superbly and had the game in hand until Bevan came in and played an absolute gem, but they managed to win by a run.

I'm guessing that wasn't an official ODI? I think we should have more of these events. I quite like them. If only the best 22 players in the world could face off. The only problem is space in the international fixture for something like this.
