Salman was teams top scorer, His role is to create a foundation, which he did.

Afridi's role is to hit out, which he has failed to do for some time.
His bowling aint that great either, i would hardly call taking a wicket or two spectacular

Saeed Ajmal bowling was brilliant and much better than Afridi in Asia Cup. If you ask for special spinner, Saeed Ajmal is the man you can rely on with his special consistent doosra deliveries. Even Rameez has said to opt for him above Afridi.
