Aloo Paratha, Qeema Paraatha, Mooli Paraatha or Gobhi Paraatha?

I think the classical Saada Paraatha is the king, but which of the following (fancier) verieties do you like most:

1. Aaloo Paraatha
2. Qeema Paraatha
3. Mooli Paraatha
4. Gobhi Paraatha
5. Meetha Paraatha
6. Daal waala Paraatha
7. Other (Please specify)

parathas are made once in a blue moon in our household, why you may ask, it's because they make you fat quicktime. if i had to choose, plain paratha. does toast count?:malik

I like some of the others too but aaloo ( :inzi ) paraatha is simply divine. Especially with cheeni waala dahi and/or with fry andaa.
 
Daal wala parantha is cool too, it's light on stomach. I can eat quite a lot of those :inzi

Well I have been eating at least two parathas everyday for as long as i can remember, never made me fat. They are a must for breakfast.

Mooli paratha..... all the way......

My mom (my Allah grant her the best place in Jannah .. Aameen) was the best mooli pratha maker.

Aloo/Qeema parathas are amazing. To call mooli/Gochi parathas disgusting would be a serious disservice to all things disgusting.
 
nothing beats a keema paratha. shame i don't have enough of them
 
I think he is still very young. Paraathas generally don't start affecting you before thirty.

Yes I'm young but I do sports too. I will take your observation and cut down on paraathas when I hit 30.

lol, actually hang on...I might have tried mooli once...never had the daal one...rest have definitely had them.
 
Haven't had a Paratha in a LONG time. Unhealthy. :))

Although, I love Aaloo Paratha and Meetha Paratha. Delicious.

I am surprised not many have voted for daal paratha. Together with that green chatni its pretty good.
 
Tough one. It's between Aaloo & Qeema Paraatha; Qeema Paraatha edges it.

I just made my first every paratha. It wasn't as nice as my mum's but it was very nice. The hard part is trying to stop the dough from
Sticking to everything.
 
Gobhi is the best ...aloo is just too plain and you cant have qeema paratha everytime as it is too heavy

Love mooli parathas. Everything else is a distant second.

Gobhi parathas, and gobhi in general, gives me headaches.

There a lot of other desi foods with similar after effects! Don't tell me you never eat daal?

It's a bit strange since desi countries are no where near the top of ay obesity charts. It's the desis who have been mowing down the pizzas, burgers, fries, etc in combination with the desi foods that causes the desi belly.

Eating a paratha every few days is not that bad for your health.
