Raneri is saying Mahrez will stay and there is talk that Mahrez has been offered a new contract. I think the deal can happen if we offer the money but Wengers dithering could cost us this deals.
Other reports say Mahrez is 2nd option for us and we're not interested.
My opnion is, Mahrez wouldn't mind staying at Lecister but would prefer to move on without having to push for the move. Lecister want him for this season but wouldn't reject 40 plus. It's all u to wenger. I don't think we will get Mahrez or Lacazuette. I have doubts about us getting Mustafi also. But today I have read a defender will join before the start of the season.

Tony Casscerino is a former Chelsea player who has played in France. I don't think he is relieble but I don't understand why he would make this up.
Yes I heard about that. I don't see us getting Mahrez. Hope I am proven wrong but I just don't see it. British media isn't really reporting it, it's mostly overseas outlets. Which can be a good thing I suppose

My personal opinion is if we wanted Lacazuette we would have already signed him. Wenger wants a proven world class striker, with Lacazuette he seems to have doubts about him so will not pay the money for him and will pay what he thinks he's worth.
I don't believe the Mustafi link, wenger said an experienced defender is who he will sign, Mustafi is only 24. I don't know for certain which cb we are in for. If I had to guess I would say Manaloas or one who is currently in the premier league.

Hopefully it's Wengers last season but bro don't wish bad on the team. If we finish 3rd or 4th the pressure of the fans could be enough for wenger to leave. Just because we finish outside of the top 4 no garuntee that wenger will leave.

Even the 4th place looks really difficult this time with teams like Spurs West Ham Liverpool and even Leicester looking really strong .. City just signed Stones United announced pogba yesterday..manchester giants and chelsea have splashed the cash but Wenger is sitting idle..without any first choice CB a thrashing awaits to the hands of Liverpool..really hard to imagine what gazdis and wenger are thinking ? Last season we lost the title because of lack of a quality finisher and quality CB to partner Kosh ..but these guys cant see the Obvious or maybe they enjoy getting under the skin of arsenal fans..would be rally happy if i see an empty emirates on the opening day and forcing wenger to sign CB and a striker..

With arsenal u never no but if we get him would be a huge signing he is world class and a huge upgrade on Per , Gabriel , Chambers...with Kosh Mustafi Bellerin and Nacho in defence add to that cech we might well have the best defence in the league and would be huge bargain too (about 30m) considering Stones joined city for 47m

Manchester United and Tottenham are the only "top" teams that look convincing at the back.

We were perfectly fine before Roman, we just had finished second actually. He just gave us the boost we needed. I'm sure Arsenal fans would love for their club and manager to actually spend money for once on a very good striker.
Honestly if Mustafi signs for Arsenal, they'll probably get top 4 knowing how inconsistent Chelsea and Liverpool are.
