Arsenal FC | 2025/26 Season

Tough match coming up for us on Saturday against Arsenal. When we visited Emirates, we were taken to the cleaners lol. But Leeds have only lost 1 game in last 10 league games so we are in good form. I will take a draw against league-leaders, but you never know what can happen at Elland Road🤭
Leeds were playing beautiful football vs Everton last night! Leeds can easily beat Arsenal given current forms of both teams.

Leeds are doing well . I did say no relegation issue for you guys this season.

It won’t be easy , Arteta has been discussing farm animals but just don’t concede corners, 3 points are up for grabs

No need sis , when you were near 10 point lead , I said City will win .
Thanks for the pick me up pal. Your footballing take is normally well off the mark so it has increased my confidence even more.

By the way can you not count? what number is near 10? Why not say 8 point lead, 9 point lead etc etc.

Youre the Arsenal fan,, go through your prayer bead history and you’ll see how many prayer beads you recited , now back down to 4.

Unlike other fans you made a prediction. Are you sticking with Arsenal winning the league or are you busy now with the carabao cup tasbih?

Ok we have figured out numbers is not your thing. Do you have issues reading as well? I literally wrote in the post you quoted that it has increased my confidence. Yes I think we will still win it.

Let me ask you a question... Do you rate the Carabao cup?

I’m happy you remain confident . It bodes well for your PP legacy .
:wenger

Sure , league cup a good trophy to own if you are not able to win the 3 ranked above it . Arteta classifies charity shield as a major trophy, I don’t .

So do you class the carabao cup as a major trophy?

Arsenal have never had a ten point lead. I see your back to your usual making stuff up., I find it hilarious that your on here giving it large after proclaiming Liverpool are scary and unstoppable.

Good way to deflect from liverpool problems.

I know a lot of Liverpool fans. They hate Man United so much. Not sure why the ones on here are doing dances for them winning and quoting tweets from their fans. Its so weird.

The fans I know were annoyed that this United team were above them even if it is temporary. Its probably the most heated rivalry there is. So the fact the plastics on here are so happy with that win shows the fair weather supporters they are.

We can do both. Hate Utd and laugh at Set Piece Own Goal FC.

Obviously it’s annoying Utd are now above Liverpool.

Sister , it’s plain English . But let me make it easier. It’s officially a major trophy so great wining it but the only two that matter is CL and PL . Apology if you don’t know what CL is , you’re an Arsenal fan so it’s forgivable
So the Carabao Cup doesn't matter then?

Liverpool are the record holders for this trophy that doesn't matter by the way. Its a massive part of the claim you fans like to make saying most successful club in England - take them away and Man United kick you out the park since we have had colour TV. So pipe down you weird numpty.

There’s no need to be rude. Lol I didn’t realise before who you are so I’m being civilised now .

I’ve never made that claim . We are the most successful because of 20 league titles joined with Utd but having double the European cups. This isn’t up for debate , don’t believe email Arteta he will confirm , unless he sees a rabbit instead of a duck 🦆

When will Arsenal fans understand the difference between quality vs quantity.

Bottom line. Champions League is the highest accolade for European club football, and Liverpool are indeed the most successful English club in Europe. This is a fact.

I get that bro. I was talking about most successful club in England. ( note - I didn't say UK )

My view on the UCL fact is that why compare to other English clubs when comparing UCL? Surely you compare to other European teams who take part in the tournament. But obviously they don't do that because they are nowhere near Real Madrid when it comes to that...

And yes I know Arsenal haven't won anything and I know its actually embarrassing. But I can still speak as a football fan as I cant speak as an Arsenal fan when it comes to Europe.

I just think when comparing UCL count you should compare it with all teams that have taken part not just English.

Agenda's will be Agendas

I think when comparing UCL count you should compare with teams that have won it, not taken part in it.

On a personal level I prefer the FA cup and consider it the best football tournament, but this is just me.

Exactly so Liverpool should compare to the likes of Real Madrid and AC Milan. Even then Liverpool's Euro record is brilliant.

I am very envious of it.

Why only Real Madrid and AC Milan? Why not also compare Liverpool with Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Forest, and Villa?

Do you think Real Madrid fans say they are the most successful Spanish team in the UCL or do you think they say they are the most successful team in the UCL...

My point is not diminishing Liverpool's achievement's - I just personally see it differently that when comparing UCL compare it with the other winners as its not only English teams in there.

Because its a European competition - so compare with all the winners across Europe not just English ones
Hang on, this is a far cry from you saying we should compare with the teams who participated in the CL!

Now we are comparing winners of CL and you want to exclude the English teams that have won the CL?

Doesn't make sense.

No its a friendly debate - not the immature nonsense you come out with

Your initial point was most successful domestic side and we LFC are that .

It’s an Arsenal thread so let’s stick to your team .

Now please inform me who is Own Goals ?

Yes they do because the CL is a comp for the top 4 teams across the top national leagues in Europe.

CL is the highest accolade for club football in Europe, why wouldn't a team that has won it compared itself with teams from the same league/country participating in the CL?

The achievement of winning a CL cannot be understated.

Would Arsenal prefer to win the PL or CL?

Would Arsenal prefer to win the PL or CL?
Great question - Honestly at this point any of them will do.

I would like the PL but that's only because I have never experienced the joy of winning a UCL so I have nothing to compare to.

Maybe if we win it one day and actually know what it feels like I can then better answer the question.

I would like us to win the UCL in my life time at some point. This season I would like the PL. Then after becoming champions of England - Become champions of Europe . That's the dream

They call themselves Kings of Europe

God willing. You will win the Premier League this season 🙌

Keep at it bro... You know when we switch on you you'll be running away.

The fact is everyone knows what you are like now even on the Liverpool thread. So keep taking little digs at me with immature comments. Shows exactly what sort of depraved person you are.

You are missing the point - A steward has no right to act like that towards anyone. Trust me everyone is aware of TY. He is very passionate about Arsenal but never abusive or insulting. I have seen him a few times when I used to go to games..

Its the way the world is now - people will record rather than stepping in
Everyone wants views on social media. That is why people would rather record than step in and help someone.

And not just that, the other big sides who have consistently been there i.e. Arsenal.

Arsenal should have gotten over that line in the early 00's, especially when Porto won it.

Arsenal fans call Saka world-class when he is putting up numbers like that. :ROFLMAO:
Saka is a world class player.... he is up there, sure, his form and record recently has been poor but he has enough credit in the bank before he is labelled anything less.

They would have won it in 2006 if they hadn't gone down a man in the final.

What has he won to be labelled world-class?

I don't think ability-wise, he is world-class, and neither does he have any accolades.

I think ability-wise he is world class, subjective, i know.

Objectively:

What sort of accolades would suffice for you?

No Cole Palmer?
Declan Rice?

Nope. Obviously Good players. But I feel Bellingham and Kane definitely are.

Kane. Season in season one of the top scorers.

Bellingham. Incredible for Madrid in his first season at the age of 20. This season different role, but still top player

Have you watched Bellingham this season?

IF so, how would you rate him? Still worldclass?

For me, Rice and Palmer are in that bracket also

Hes playing in a different role. He influences big games both for England and Madrid.

Last year at Euros, if it weren't for him, England would have struggled to get out of the Group, let alone get to the final.

I see Palmer is linked with UTD with Brunos future in doubt beyond this season. Im not convinced with Palmer. Obviously a good player, but he has phases in alot of games where he goes missing.

The world class debate is interesting.

People have different opinions of what they class as world class.

I don't agree with the if you haven't won anything you can't be world class but I get why people would say that.

Saliba and Gabriel are world class for me.
As is Declan Rice the way he has been this season.

Timber for me is heading there.

The way I see it is if the player can get into the top level teams in their position as a starter then he is world class.

Saka is top top 3 RW currently. However his form has dipped this season which can't be overlooked.

I can't think of many RB currently around better than Timber.
Reece James is world class as long as he stays fit.

I'd like to add the standard of football in general has dropped so when I say world class I say it as current level of football

Fair points....

Bellingham does deliver big moments but he has been poor this season- granted a different role... but he has not really kicked on, still world class but not great performances this year

Hes had to sacrifice his role due to the Big Egos of Vinni ( who spits his dummy out) and Mbappe who always is the main man.

Agreed but this new role, he still has freedom, tchaoumeni and camavinga hold.... in a way, he has more freedom now vs the false 9!

However, seeing him against FDJ and Pedri showed that there are levels to world class

Arsenal don’t have a single player who has been or is world class . Saliba and Gabriel will be if they win one of the big two . This maybe their last stand in London, one will prob move on if they bottle it again

Cmmon now bhai?! I get the back and forth etc but Arsenal do have some world class players, gain nothing from inaccurate jibes.

Or if Henry didn’t bottle an open goal
With this defeat, Arsenal became the first English club and third overall – after Hamburger SV and Fiorentina – to have been runner-up in all three major European competitions (European Champion Clubs' Cup/UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League, and the now-defunct Cup Winners' Cup)

Keep up the world class trolling and world class nonsense.

You really do excel at talking complete and utter ****.

Also world class at making stuff up

I was actually glad he did as I wanted him at Barca (keen barca follower) and that led to argubly the greatest club side in history... had he won that, i think he would have stayed and then no Henry, Etoo, Messi... fraction ahead of MSN for me.

Mentality midgets

And with that Henry realised he needs to leave to win the European Cup.

Barca without Henry would have still been the Goat , the midfield of Barca was tne key , elite .

I'd take world class trolling, banter, and nonsense within the realms of the Premier League compared to the utter dross and kak in the world right now!

The emotions are ebbing and flowing with the footy results! Last week Liverpool were getting a pasting, and this week Arsenal.

We should combine the Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man United threads for the greater good of humanity - laughter is the best medicine!

😜👊🏆
