What's new

Arsenal FC | 2025/26 Season

I'll be going to the Crystal Palace game this Sunday, so if anyone here is going let me know.
Enjoy the game, we need to just get another 3 points and put pressure in those teams dropping points.

Won't be Easu game, but we should be winning it

Pretty boring and uninspiring 30 mins so far, ball needs to passed around quicker. Plus Palace look dangerous on break.

We need a goal here

0-0

3 points when rivals lost. Priceless

I think it was a decent performance. Palace are no joke. Very well organised. I was watching carefully they hunt in packs.

Got the job done. Another clean sheet. On we go

Today was just about winning.

Emery did us a favour today as well 🤭 vs city

@Geordie Ahmed did say in a different thread City's Credentials will really be tested in the next round of Fixtures were they have some tough Fixtures. Mind you Liverpool are one of the opponents 😆

If you Gooners could open up a 10 point gap by end of November. Surely a Great chance.

Yep, I said earlier in this thread, the next 4 will tell us a lot, I wasn't convinced by them

For me they needed 10 points from 12 for me to consider them genuine challengers, right now the maximum they can get is 9 and I still think they drop more points

Bournemouth (H)
Liverpool (H)
Newcastle (a)

I don't see them getting 9 points from that set of fixtures

I think Arsenal will have at least a double figure lead over City at the end of the next 3 games

Way too early to make any definitive predictions but Arsenal really are in pole position, they are getting results and they've gotten some tough fixtures out of the way (Old Trafford, Anfield and St James' Park)

What bodes well for Arsenal this time is the squad is a lot more balanced, last time you built a healthy lead you went from Saliba being replaced by Holding and it falling apart, this time the options on the bench are better

With a quarter of the season gone they are the favourites but key is to build that healthy lead so that if any of the title rivals get their act together it's too late

Spot on. Racking up these wins is to prepare for any inevitable dips. Every team goes through a patch where they drop points.

Sounds simple but just rack up the points so the effect of the dip is minimised.

I read somewhere most of many city wins have come against bottom half teams and United. Not sure if that's accurate but says a lot about where they are at the moment.

Last season we got off to a good start with 4 wins and a draw. The issue was then get 2 points from 4 games in a row vs Bournemouth, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle. The damage was then done.

Now its other teams dropping points so we have to do what Liverpool did last season and just keep winning games.

Squad and manager need to focus on each fixture we have rather then who rivals are playing.

We also need to find a way to start scoring more goals from open play.

Thanks. It was a nervy watch at times and a lot colder than I expected but nothing better than seeing Eze scoring against his old club and City losing today.

Saliba, Califori and Rice all had to come off due to injury.

Arteta has to be careful that he doesn’t run players to the ground.

The idea of having a big squad isn’t merely for cover but to rotate as well.

None of these players should be playing vs Brighton midweek

We need to fully rotate, we have squad now to not need to have these start

Kepa
White mosquera hincapie LMS
Norgaard merino
Nwaneri
Downman Martinelli trossard

That should be starters for midweek
Do you think this team beats Brighton?

I agree tbh that this should be the team
Martinelli might be injured.

We should aim to progress and I'd like to win the cup. Eventhough if there was a list it would rank lowest. But we need that 1st one.

Am I right in thinking they changed it this year where semi final is just one leg?

I really hate the 2 leg semi

Just checked it's still 2 legs...

I think even with our strongest 11, Brighton is always a tricky game. However the 11 I named should be capable of getting a result
