At least 200 people killed in Mosul air strikes

very sad news. But this was an attack to help the Iraqi forces fighting ISIS in Mosul and was a tragic accident . ISIS are using human shields and child suicide bombers like the cowards they are.

RIP to all the victims a terrible tragedy of War.

That is what all Terrorists do.

They hide among civilians and use them as shields. If an innocent person dies, these terrorists can use this as an excuse to recruit more people.

So what is the solution?

If those ISIS terrorists escape, they gonna come back and kill equal number of innocent people.

Civilians caught in armed conflict between Govt and Terrorists have no escape. The only option is to flee.

Ever since Trump became President civilian casualties have gone through the roof, both in Syria and Iraq. Turkey needs to kick Americans out of Incirlik Air Base. Not only they use it terrorize Syrians and Iraqis but also support Turkey's enemies i.e. PKK and their affiliates in Syria.

Never understood air strikes. It doesn't take a PHD or something to figure out that blindly dropping a bomb will kill people you don't want to.

Not a lot of thought goes into how many civilians will be killed, they just don't care at all.

aloo paratha with the modern technology they can pin point locations pretty accurately and they normally give those on the ground notice so they can find shelter before hitting targets which generally are weapons depots group HQ basically buildings or areas used by the group or the home of one of the leaders of the militants. They can be very effective at destroying group infrastructure. The onus is always on how to limit the number of civilians being killed but at times certain groups use human shields and dont allow Civilians to leave and hold them hostage which leads to situations like this.

ISIS are clinging on in Mosul and resorting to these desperate tactics but they need to be removed without aerial bombardment the Iraqi armies bid to retake Mosul will stall.

Not even most Arabs or non Arab Muslim's are interested in the Middle East anymore. Sadly Iraqis, Palestinians and Syrians are totally defenceless to stop wave after wave of attacks from western backed terrorists. We should forever be thankful to Allah for having a brilliant military and being armed to teeth that no one dare openly mess with Pakistan. Now don't anyone start about the military budget being to high and rubbish like that.

What reason do you have for not maintaining good relations with neighboring Muslim countries? There is definitely a need for an army, no arguing about that, but there's a balance in everything, we sadly crossed that balance.

I think Pak is on okay terms with most Muslim countries but we can't fight their battles for them. After all, they will never do the same for us. Turkey and Saudi joining yesterday's parade tells us that things are okay with these two but we do have differences to solve with Iran and Afghanistan in particular. If taking care of our interests means crossing the balance then so be it. We need to put Pakistan first otherwise no one else will.
