We are trailing because we don't have any support bowler for Bumrah unlike last two tour where Ishant, shami and Umesh were supported bumrah very well.

I'm not talking about batsman just from bowling point of view.

I think Ashwin should have been played. He is the only wicket taking bowler from the spin department.
 
India’s second line of attack has been subpar, and it’s proving to be a significant drawback at this critical juncture. With Mohammed Shami unavailable, what’s the situation with Umesh Yadav? Has he been overlooked, or is there another factor at play?
 
Embarrassing to hear the TV PR bunch trying to big up Kohli as the new captain of this team. Been noticing this since the last game when Rohit looked on his way out.
 
Prasidh is useless. He is a poor man's Boland. All that height, but trundles and has no stock delivery.

Conditions are still helpful even though not as good as yesterday. But still this man cannot even beat the bat even once. He is on par with Reddy in terms of bowling level. Except Reddy can bat and field effectively.

Akashdeep is much better than Prasidh.

If am not wrong the guy used to hit 145kph-148kph a couple of years back in T20s.
 
Poor from Smith just before Lunch. Session gooes to India. 4 top order wickets gone.

Rest of the team needs to bat well and get some lead.

He can crank it up in T20's and can touch 145k's. But he is not built to bowl at that speed in longer formats. Never liked his style of bowling.

India needs to find a 3rd bowler who can bowl between 135-140 and bowl tight lines. Just to keep up the pressure. Siraj used to be the 3rd bowler when Shami was fit. Now Siraj became our 2nd option leaving India vulnerable when the main bowlers are resting.

Aus would have preferred to get bowled out at 250 runs in 100 overs than 60 overs. Aus pacers need rest.

Fast scoring is good only if it goes for long or you need fast scoring. Aus needs to bat some time as well.
 
India are going to make this Webster noob score a 50 or even 75.

We have a history of making tall bowling all rounders look like all time greats.

Fast scoring is also useful when you want to cross the 1st inning total of opposition. In this case, they would be thinking to go past 182. So,better score fast and get to that mark rather than being stuck and not getting the scoreboard moving.
 
Aus going to get a handy 50-70 run lead.

India will as usual falter in the 2nd innings leaving Aus an easy 100 runs to win. They will win the match by 7 wickets.

India played too slow otherwise we could have scored over 230 .

230 is competitive 1st innings score but not 185. Another 50 runs would have made huge difference here .

Australia is knowing well that they just need another 80 runs before takes the lead so all the pressure on indian bowlers .

They will struggle to get webster, Carey, and Boland out. Will take a handy lead..
 
Good effort but we just don't have the players unfortunately. Batting is woefully, and to compensate we have wrecked our options in bowling.

If Bumrah fails to clean up the lower order, Aus can score 300 too.
 
This post lunch session will decide where the game goes. India cannot afford to let the Aussie tail wag yet again.
 
Poor field settings from Bumrah..

Bumrah now leaving the field again looks like he is finally breaking down, I expected this to happen a lot earlier to be fair.

I heard that Shami was kept out of the side because him and Rohit couldn't get along.

Who cares anyway, these lot deserve to lose the series the minute Kohli & Rohit were in the squad.

These two teams have produced great series for the last 10 years no matter where series was played.

Aus sould have wrapped this up if not for rain, but if you can't win home tests series with 4 tests then can't complain.
 
Bumrah might be out for the match, just saw him in change of clothes leaving the stadium...

Than rain is also part of play and how can you say India would have lost , india also had chance 50% to win That game as well Last time ( 2018)!, rain saved Australia otherwise series results would have been 3-1.
