With bumrah out . India is already lost the test .

Yeah if Bumrah is out it will be tough. But never know he could come back after a day's rest.

I don't think the pitch is impossible to bat on and if they see off the new ball they can do some damage.

No chance and we should not take any risk with him.

He is our national treasure so take care of him with highest priority.

Don't think Bumrah should aggravate his injury. We have another 5 test series coming up. It's okay if we don't hold on to BGT> We were holding it for 10 years. Let Australia enjoy for a while. We will win back in the return tour.

More importantly, the IPL is coming up.

India on top here. they just need to bat well in the 2nd inning.

Day 2: Tea Break - Australia trail by 4 runs
IND 185
AUS 181 (51) CRR: 3.55

Agreed.

India also needs Bumrah for CT. It is less than 2 months away.

India does not deserve to win this series anyways. A victory will make the selectors ignore the shortcomings of some players in the team.

How are they on top when their main bowler is out for scans for a possible injury?

India has to score close to 300 to have any chance without Bumrah to defend in the 4th innings. So basically its not happening.

As someone rightly said after last test, no need to drop Rohit and all. Just drop Bumrah and whoever in that bowling line up is giving false hopes. This whole series has been about Bumrah giving false hopes only for our deshbhakt batters to bring us down to Earth and accept defeats.

India need to bat as long as possible so that Bumrah can take his time and recover.. (in case its not serious)

lollll anyone saw the Rohit interview. Looked very aggressive and saying he was going nowhere.

He needs to though. Seriously. Maybe when he calms down.

What will he say otherwise?

Series is still ongoing and next test series is 5 month's aways so enough time to announce the retirement before that.

Where? I have not seen.
It was during Tea. I'm watching on Hotstar and yeah, was in Hindi.

Basically at the end the host said some patronizing stuff calling him a legend a great captain for India and Rohit said, dude I'm not going anywhere what are you talking about, and walked off in a huff. He did turn back after a few steps and laugh though to lighten it but I think he was serious that he
1. Dropped himself for this test
2. He isn't sure that this is the end and will take a call on his test future in a couple months as he also said that things can change very fast in cricket :giggle:

What a disappointing display from Rohit—it completely exposes the facade of the selfless, team-oriented image he was hiding behind. With the series on the line and his players fighting it out on the field, he’s focused on his personal position and retirement plans. It’s disheartening and unworthy of the respect he earned through his white-ball performances.

Doesn't seem like Bumrah will bowl. Even if he does, I don't think he will be the same.

I think Aussies can chase down 220-240 comfortably.

Some Pak and Bangladeshi posters are silent because they've never seen their players even dream of batting like this in Australia :ROFLMAO:

Actually, other nationalities don't think like you guys (blind and obnoxious nationalism).

I don't watch cricket for BD only. I even follow Afghanistan-Zimbabwe game.
